Of course, T and Orange are the same company now...
Last I heard T were going to be the budget end and Orange were looking to get the more high spending customer...0 -
My contract expires a month today, am about to call Orange to give 30 days notice. I'm looking to go onto a rolling sim only-type deal. I'm sure I saw on here that someone got a great deal for a fiver a month? However, when I enquired in the Orange shop this afternoon, their rolling sim only deal was £20 a month for 500 mins and unlimited texts?
Anyone got any advice?0 -

Depends on how much you spend a month over your plan price. If you go over quite a bit you'll get a good offer (but you'll get a better offer when you're fully out of contact). The more over you go the better deal they'll offer you.0 -

Just been offerred a HTC Desire for £49.99, 300 mins per month, unlimited texts, 500mb data for £30 a month (18 month contract).
I rarely go over my minutes and texts etc, to be honest. Currently pay £30 a month for 300 mins, unlimited texts and Blackberry data. Ideally I was hoping to pay more like £20 a month and had no intention of paying for a handset..0 -

Really Bad Deal! Talk to retentions. Is this your finally month. If you are currently paying £30 per month you should get a much much better deal!0 -

Do you think it would be realistic to aim for a free Desire HD at £20 a month, with the minutes, texts and internet I have now?0 -

Cheerio Orange!
Don't forget to go via Quidco / Greasypalm etc for the extra cashback too0 -

Terrible deal, I wouldn't expect to pay more than around £15/month for that if you were to stretch to a 24month contract. Is an 18monther essential for you? If you do go for 24 month, I would expect to get the Desire HD rather than just a Desire...why not check my tips on page 220 of this thread and see how you get on. Do let us know, and good luck.0 -
Just seen that Carphone Warehouse are offering the Desire HD for free on a 24m contract, £25 a month for 300 mins, unlimited texts and 500mb internet. That's better than Orange retentions were offerring me!
What do I do now? Surely Orange won't be too fussed if I say I'm going to leave them only to take out a new contract with them via a third party retailer?0
