Orange Retention Offers

I was disapointed to read that orange no longer give free broadband :sad:

Called them to request pac and was offered

Sony ericsson k850i
18 month contract
350 mins + 250 texts
retain free broadband

£25 month

He said to call back in a months time, I was told it should be £20 which compared to the cashback deal I got last time doesnt sound that good

is not really that good in terms of minutes and texts but as you have the free bb with it the deal aint too bad. Anyone can keep it as long as they stay on a plan which is 30pound a month or more, as that deal is normally. All depends on whether u can be bothered with cashback or not.

My contract runs out with Orange on the 2nd of July so tried giving them a ring today to see if I could upgrade to the Nokia N82 but was told it isn't available yet (despite being on their website). Does anyone know when the N82 will be available on Orange?

Thanx for the advice toontastic i will let you know wat happens. If my contract rund out on the 17th july and lets say i was still on the back order list then wat happens to my contact? If i am on a bundle but i usually go over my texts messages by a good 100 do u think that makes a difference with my current deal?

My contract is due up in the next couple of weeks.

Currently have 18month contract with:-

2550 mins
Unlimited Txt
Unlimited evening and weekend calls
£35/month, bill is often £38-40/month

I DO NOT need a new handset (Will look at getting an unlocked iPhone), any ideas what sort of deal I could get for a new 18month contract?

Can I negotiate a cheaper plan?

I've manged to improve my deal with a better phone.

I asked retentions if i could get the new Nokia N82, the advisor put me on hold and came back a few mins later and said ok no problem we can give you that FOC.

So i'm moving from O2 to Orange and getting:

Nokia N82 - Free of Charge
700 Anytime X Network Mins
Free Unlimited Anytime Calls to landlines
100 Texts

£22.00 per month on an 18 month contract.

I was specifically told I could not get HTC TyTNII or the Nokia N95 8GB as a Retention phone so you are doing well!!

can you change networks and still get a retentions deal? even though you have never been with say orange, but O2?
