He tried that. He doesn't want to go over £10ish a month, and they told him that would only give him 30 more texts!

That is a pretty sweet deal! so you basically pay nothing for the contract over 24 months and made 60£ on top of that

That's a cracking deal!

I've just spoken to the Upgrade department and they wanted to charge me over £28 for a very similar deal to yours, but with less data. I think I'll need to speak to the retentions department.

How much was your contract with them and what had you been paying and for what?
When did you call, during your last month?

I don't know if this is too much to ask (but I run my own forum too so I know the actual task is not difficult) but could we possibly split this thread so we can only see deals from say mid 2010 onwards, and the past posts be kept as an older thread?

Been going through the pages noting down the deals and it'd be nice to have a new thread for the new year (or a little longer) like in other parts of the forum they have for saving money, making money etc.

That's pretty bad.. (Orange)

I sent my Bold back as i've been playing on my partners torch and prefer it.

£17 a month - 400 mins, unlimited texts and 500mb data - 18 month contract.

Took me an absolute age to get that deal though, an hour infact.

Orange sent me the wrong phone, i was told to send it back and as soon as they received it the manager a Mr Peter Snowdon would phone me up and arrange another deal. Of course no phone call back from the manager, its been almost a month now since i sent the phone back and i've been chasing it up daily. Sending emails to the manager/requesting call backs. Yesterday I got told by a retentions assistant that He's in a meeting but Peter told her she could handle it.
