The Elm is only worth about £90, you'd be better off on a sim-only contract and buying the phone yourself then get locked into a 24 month contract.

Thanks for that, I had doubts about 24 month contract, phones are due to be delivered today so I wont be accepting them, know any good sim only contracts?

Hi, Need some help with orange retentions please!

Went through retentions a few weeks ago and agreed two contrcts, one contract the phone was not in stock and I agreed for them to text when it is in and then delivery can be arranged. Therefore I agreed to both contracts.

Phoned today and asked where this text is and they have no recollection of the contract which I agreed with them.

I have quoted the deal which was 18 months and they are saying they can do it on 24 months at the same price but for 18 months will be a lot more expensive.

What are my rights seeing as I agreed to the contracts, which they have proceeded to lose one of.

    Many Thanks

amazind deal if it is true

Sure is true! Ive had it a few days now, but the cover was loose so they've just turned up with a replacement phone! Good service I say.

It just depends on who you speak to... I just told him straight that my friend was offered a similar deal and he just gave me this deal! He did say that I was averaging 50 odd quid per month over the duration of the contract though?!

They should have all details as notes in their system. Ask them to check that and also ask them to check the call records as all calls are recorded. I think thats the best which can be done!

Yes we got a desire free on 24 months for £15 odd a month, less minutes but then you'd expect that for £10 a month less! Also got a free desire HD for £17 odd a month with 600 mins, unlimited texts and 500mb data.
I'll bare that in mind, i'll ring them tomo morning. Thanks
  • Hi
My contract is up next month, and i'm looking to get an iPhone this time. I'm a good customer with Orange, as I have all my home broadband & calls through them as well as my mobile.

What sort of deal should I expect to be offered?
