Sim ony -> Contract. Good deals not generally offered. Better to go via p4u or cpw type sites or high street

Right think I need to try harder, I just got offered desire HD £49.99, then £20.42 pm for 500 mins 100 texts and free landline calls, no inclusive data - I'm thinking that is rubbish and I'll try again tomorrow!

I'm currently with orange and have been for years always on pay monthly with a phone from them too, I have two contracts with them at the moment and have done for about 4 years so you;d think they'd be keen to keep me.......

U'd think so! Orange have been very strange.. as seen on these forums only! High payers dont get good deals.. low payers get good deals.. ur deal is also nice.. depends what ur paying currently.. and with this also, you should easily b able to push for their standard 500mb data!

I'm sick to death of having to keep ringing back and trying to get a good deal. Really shouldn't have to.....

200 anytime mins
unlimited texts
and 500mb data

free blackberry torch except they're out of stock. last wednesday they said they were expecting delivery thursday, then same excuse thursday etc etc. now they have no idea when they'll have any

hardly good for a mobile phone company is it?

The tariff they are offering is exactly the same as I have now, no additional discount, no extra minutes or data or anything! Just a discount on the phone price......

Try and push for more discount on phone and data! Call a few times.. patience and persistence is the key

Well, now my upgrading journey is now over, I thought I would share my new contract with you to show you what I managed to get out of Orange after 6 calls!

My new contract consists of:
- Sansung Omnia 7 (Free)
- 800 Minutes
- Unlimited Texts
- Unlimited Landline Calls
- 1Gb Internet
- 30 Picture Messages
- Free Insurance
- 24 Months at £23.86 p/m

Hope this helps people who are currently upgrading.

When I upgraded last time (2 years ago) I got:
- 1200 mins
- Unlimited Texts
- 500mb Internet
- Free HTC Touch HD
- £25 per month, 24 months

Most of my minutes went on landline calls tho or Orange numbers, So they are now covered by the magic numbers and the unlimited landline calls. So im very happy.
