Thanks Maniac. I was on the same deal as your Dad (TMO, Orange Panther 45, 12mths cashback) and I wouldn't have bothered to negotiate a new deal with Orange if it wasn't for this forum.
After seeing your post I called them and they looked at my usage, asked what handset I wanted, and offered me the following deal.
Nokia N95 (free)
150 Mins
50 Texts
Racoon 25 discounted to £15/month.
12 month contract.
No haggling involved and I got a deal which I'm very happy with.
Thanks again,
K.
P.S. No real complaints about the TMO cashback deal. I followed their rules and although they take a while to pay the cash back, it has been hassle free.
I'm glad you got yourself a good deal."He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

I called Orange today as I knew that my 'time' was due to look at renewing, although my current 18 month contract was running until December. Was offered the following.
Samsung G600
350 mins
300 text
Broadband
£20 per month
Compared to the other posts here this seems like a decent deal, I am currently paying £30 per month for 600 mins & 1000 text with broadband. More mins & texts than I will ever use, so I'm a happy bunny:)
Really nice guy on the phone was very happy to keep the offers coming, he went from being the upgrade guy and then put on his retentions dept hat. Made it very easy for me, sounds like Orange are doing what they can to keep their customers happy and good on em I say. I have had no real issues with them over the last year or so.0 -

It is definitely worth you calling orange with a pen and notebook and ask then what they can do.
If your orange payg is registered they will take into account your spend with them so if you don't try you don't get !I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I would be surpised if they give you the N95 free on £15 a month, my oh is on my contract and we both were paying £30 a month but the only way we got the N95 and E65 free was because of high spend but at least we got £200 credit (£100 on each account).
Bear in mind as well that broadband is free if you are on a £30 tariff.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.
