Keep trying it all depends who you get through to, some are a waste of time, others are great and while getting mine the guy said, hangon a min i will see what else i can give you for free after everything else i was surprised, only thing was the vodafone sat nav so he gave me that even though i did not need it. just keep trying and good luck
Same happened with me. The guy said i can give u 15 free MMS. Though I dont need them, i took it. You right said it all depends who you get on phone!0 -

Tried again, I mean, what have I got to lose? LOL. It was a guy (the women are complete witches on the loyalty helpline!). He offered me HTC Desire Mozart (free), 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 250mb internet for £20 a month for 18 months. Is that any good? Or shall I keep trying? LOL.0 -

Not good at all! Dont go for this. Ask for more. You should get more minutes and desire hd for free in 20£ pm. Push for more.
Ask some questions like -
What band am I? You are ought to be Band 5
How many loyalty points do I have? You ought to have plenty.
Tell them how ur friends have got such good deals -- quote my deal or the plenty of deals on Page 196/197.
You would get more. And I agree the women never give good deals. No offence, its just my experience. Both times i extended my contract, it has been the men who have given me fantastic deals...0 -

Dont go to Loyalty line. Go to thinking of leaving Orange. Upgrades and loyalty lines do not give good deals at all! Its only the leaving orange who do. If I remember correctly, its option 1 for mobiles, then u enter your mobile number, then option 4 and then option 2..0 -
@teamcullen: somehow your post has disappeared. Well I am only trying to help the people here. If my opinion is incorrect, thanks for advising the same. But to advise, I have also had 3 friends get good contract upgrade deals from orange based on my thoughts and the way I got my contract. You may be very well Right, but what I have been saying is purely based on what has happened with me and my friends. No Offence intended!0

Smartcrab, the post I made I deleted as I didn't want to appear offending in anyway.
I know what you're saying, I've seen many great deals offered and cheaper amounts of line rental but from your posts over the last few days you're appearing to set peoples expectations really high. The deal offered with the Mozart above was a classic example of this. You can't get a deal like that direct through Orange, the tariff would be £25p/m for 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 500mb of data and I'm sure the handset would be around £49.99/£99.99. So yes in theory it was a good deal because it wasn't something that someone walking in off the street would get too.
You also have to bear in mind that if you're paying a contract of say £15p/m your renewal deal next time around is going to be completely shocking. You won't have generated as much as a customer on that tariff at normal price would have. So you need to prepare for that too.0 -

I called, then pressed 1 for mobile enquiry, then option 4 for upgrades/cancellations, then 2 for thinking about leaving orange. When they pick up, they always say loyalty team xxxx speaking.
Also, I got told that by choosing the HTC Mozart, it used up all my loyalty and I could not get anything more.
I think they are just ripping me off cos they know I'm a bit of a dumb customer who will pay up to £50 a month.0 -

Ohk... Its just silly orange then.. They keep bad paying customers but are not ready to loose a big paying customer by giving him/her a low rental deal. i think they dont realize that the customer would go away as much better deals in market...0 -

I think it's because they genuinely think I am dumb enough to pay that much. My colleague who joined Orange 2 years ago never went over her £12,50 spend a month. A year ago, she called to cancel it, and they gave her a free phone and £5.00 a month for 12 months. She has just renewed again and got a really good deal with a posh glam new phone for about £15 a month.
Must take my custom elsewhere.0
