Orange Retention Offers

Hi,
I've been ringing almost daily, since it's free to harrass them, to try to get the desire but no joy so far. First tried at beginning of August. Missed last delivery because they said they were getting 3000 phone and to ring back the next day. They actually only got 900 and all had gone by the time I rang at 8.20am. Not very trusting about what people tell me on the phone since it is so easy to fob someone off when they're not looking at you so been chasing ever since.
Their latest excuse is that HTC have released a statement saying that they will be available after Sept 1st. No indication of how long after, or even which Sept 1st but I'll be calling every day anyway. Can't find any reference to this statement from HTC online though and not sure if other companies are having the same delay. Orange say they are but they would, wouldn't they.
Orange have, however, offered me a cracking deal... which I only discovered was good after trying to get the last desire in the local orange shop and finding out what he was offering. So I will persevere for the time being, although I have my pac code safely tucked away for when my patience finally wears out!!!
Hope we all manage to get one soon.Cross Stitch Challenge member 11 - May challenge well under way

Exactly. The question was - have any upgrades or retentions got an HTC.
There are apparently 2 different supplies of stock, 1 for new customers and 1 for upgrades. It's very disappointing that they treat existing customers this way.0 -
