got my phone upgraded yesterday after ringing upgraded a few months ago asking for the n95 (they wanted £90-100) I waited a while and thought sod it ill just cancel and got with someone else, so rand the cancel people i managed to get the n95 (not the 8gb as they wont stock it as its got a fault) also offered £10 off my bill, could of got it cheaper but i have broadband with them too!
Im quite happy with what i got but annoyed that i could of been asked to pay for it

should i take it or push for more of a discount as i'm already paying £30 for 550mins and unlimited texts...

if so, how would be the best way to play it now..

I called up and was told i could upgrade in month 10 of a 12 month contract.
However, the deal was rubbish.
They wanted £99 for a phone that is free to new customers.
The guy suggested i wait til near the end of my 12 months and id probably get it for free.
Has anyone esle had a good deal in month 10?....should i try again or wait?

Ive been with Orange a while and in May after a bit of haggling I managed to get

- Nokia N95
-500 minutes to all numbers
-200 text messages

for £15 a month on an 18 month contract

was more than happy with this and have pretty much fallen for the phone - so much so I reckon I will keep it next time round and use that as a bartering tool to my advantage.;)

called them back and said they won't be offering me anything better.. something about they can't change an offer they've already made which is bol****s.. i'll be calling them again at the end of the week asking for my pac code me thinks..

So you have THREE magic numbers, UNLIMITED TEXT and 600 minutes for £35........... They are not the divs I belive that lies on your shoulders. It's a cracking offer esp with a new phone.

What do u reecon of that deal?

Im on dolphin. 500mins and 500txts a month for £35. I got a call from orange today saying they can offer me 600mins and unlimited txts for £30 a month with either samsung g100 or sony erricson k850i. I told her Im still looking around at other offers. She said she could send out the phone 2day and if i didnt like it i could send it back. I said I didnt want the phone sent out and she told me i could not have the offer then and I would have to wait til my contract finished which is 5th may-strange-why do i have to have a phone sent out and take the offer today and if i dont then no deal.bit like blackmail lol
