How do you get an offer like that? I'm paying £30/month and getting less?!
  • Just wanted to tell all about my experience with orange retentions. Managed to get a deal on a K850i had to pay £55 for it but an 18 month contract for £20 a month with 600 mins and unlimited texts.

I went ahead with the cancellation and they sent out a pac code but decided to ring them back and said I really wanted to stay with them and what could they do.

I'm happy with the deal considering I was paying £35 on my previous contract.

    Cheers

    Paul

I was a very high paying customer, most of my bills were over £60 pretty much throughout the year. I kept ringing back asking for the best offer possible n the last i was offered was £15 a month for that deal, i said is there any possibility of getting another £5 off my line rental n she said sure icon6.gif

Perseverance certainly pays. On my third call (and having received PAC today) I received the following offer:

    18 month contract
    £10/month
    400 mins
    100 texts
Nokia 6500 classic or slide, Samsung G800 or choice of others
    Bluetooth headset

Well chuffed with that, and no annoying cashback dates to remember:j

BTW could also have had 600 mins and unlimited texts for £15/month but didn't need that much

Well done slojo perseverance certainly did pay for you. I am due to give my notice to leave and request my pac at the same time in a couple of weeks. I am hoping to secure a good deal too. I am currently on the Dolphin plan £35 a month (500 xnet mins 500 text). Which plan are you currently on ? Have you spending over your monthly allowance? What advice would you give to secure a similar deal?
