Do you have any idea how much o2 took their customers for granted when they had iPhone exclusivity? Orange arent taking anyone for an idiot, the price of the iPhone tariffs are controlled by Apple

That might be the case, but it doesn't stop O2 offering far better renewal deals on iPhones by using the excuse of returned phones.

The point is, in any business, rightly or wrongly, the clients/customers who make the company the most money are treated the best that's just a fact.

Seems some would rather work on the basis of poker. Treat those well who hassle them and try and get the best deal all the time (and just looking at the deals some get offered on here it is clear that they will regularly give deals with virtually no profit margin at all to those who harass them). While those who make them a fair amount every month for years without hassling them a new handset every 10 minutes are regarded as a certain renewal and not offered any deals.

    All the best

Do you even know about the HTC Hero? It eats data for breakfast - so without an internet add-on, you'd be getting very high bills.

Maybe worth controlling your sarcasm, and stop believing that everyone owes you the world on a stick?

Perhaps you should hold your tongue. I'm not an idiot, I do realise that i would need unlimited internet...however if i were a new customer I could get the same deal for £20 a month. I think i would have to be pretty stupid to think that i was offered a good deal.

Perhaps you Orange lovers should go back and read some of the other posts on this thread before saying that I think the world owes me. I just think that I should be treated decently.

At the end of the day I'm leaving Orange who, In My Opinion, are rubbish compared to their rivals. I am entitled to my opinion, the same as you are entitled to yours.

This forum is meant for discussing money saving and I think that perhaps you should ask yourself why you bother posting if you have nothing constructive to say on that point.

First they came for the crack users; but I said nothing. I was not a crack user. Then they came for the heroin users. But I said nothing - I was not a heroin user. Then they came for me. There was no one left to speak for me. (after Pastor Niemoller)

You don't get the 500mb of data either which would be an extra £5 a month

No you won't. Read the website. As others have now stated:

    1) The phone would be £49.99 upfront
    2) Delivery would be another £3.99
    3) You'd only get "free evening and weekend internet" for 2 months, then have to pay £5 a month extra for it.
    4) You'd have to take a new number as a new customer.

So your loyalty would have saved you £173.98 over 2 years.

Like a cat with a slice of burger cheese stuck to its' face, you have failed here.
  • Here I go again, still negotiating OH contract. So far I think I have got pretty good deals for myself and my sister.. but OH is proving hard work

After a lengthy (45min) chat the best I have got:

    BB Bold
    18 month contract
    400 min
    550 texts
    Unlimited landline
    BB Bundle
    £49.99 for the phone
    £25 per month

    He is currently on a £25 a month contract (18months due up next month) with £10 discount= £15 a month + £5 orange care so £20 a month

We have been with Orange about 3 years and he has gone over at least 4 times in 18months ie £40-£60 bills

They have said tonight that they are only calculating on last 6 months, and he has lyalty of £300

Trying my best to negotiate the phone free as I did for myself and my sister...

If at first you dont succeed try, try again..

    :-)
