Yes sir, you shall loose it. The offer is valid only till the life of the orange airtime contract.

BTW, o2 is doing take away box at £15, with 5 months free and £7.50 after that, for 7 months. And they are doing it at £75 cashback here.
So, effectively, its 7.50X7=52.5 minus 50= 2.50 +15(initial cost)= 17.50 / 12=£1.453 each month.

Problem is hubby wants an upgrade but they are saying he hasnt spent enough so the deals they are offering are not that great.. however because he has bb contract attached to phone contract his hands are tied as he wont be able to cancel the phone to go else where. the deal they are offering me is okay, but they have told him they no longer do omnia but have seen a post from 3 days ago from someone who has just got that. He is currently on a £30 pm contract discounted to £15 and he rarely goes over his min or text so they are saing he has not built up enough to get anywhere near what that are offering me. They have also said they are not doing the bb bold.. yet hear differently on here?

Its true that they are not giving bb free but if you choose to continue the previous contract/ upgrade, they still honour their side of deals. Though not offering free bb anymore.

oh I know they are no longer offering bb anymore, we already have it but we can get a better new deal than the retention offer, however we cant do that because we would then breaking the contract of the bb as its attached to the mobile contract...

I tend not post very often but my last posts were involving my last orange mobile renewal so here we go again ;p

My retention offer granted me :

Free Samsung Omnia (16gb)
500 Mins
Unlimited Texts
Unlimited Mobile Internet (up to 500mb per month AUP)
Reduced Contract from £40pm down to £25p tho im still hitting £35+ due to use.

Has anyone had similar or is trying them for a continued deal?

Im happy with the above but ideally i would love to have the same line rental plus a free phone.

Orange a pimping the Iphone constantly (which is sure a great phone but a !!!!! camera).

Will keep you posted for what I can get as orange dont have the best selection of handsets. Very tempted by the HTC HD2, Omnia2, no other phones really strike me as that exciting for my needs.

I have been look at similar however they tried to tell me they no longer do Omnia, and they are offering the bb curve but would prefer the bold.. he is ringing back on friday. i would have thought that they would offered you similar min to min 900, however I do not need that much so was going to agree to reduce to 500 if they will give me either the bb bold htc hd2 or maybe the omnia 2

Hiya ontheup, i too am on a redcued contract same as your OH and coming up to upgrade soon, how often does he go over £15 and by how much?
Also what sort of offers did he get?

Hiya, he was on a £30 pm contract 18 months that was reduced to 15 a month by way of retention offer (been with orange 4+yrs) with that he got 400min x network 500 text and the tocco, this was 18 months ago btw. He very very rarely goes over

they would not allow him the same deal as me as my contract is £5 pm more than his and I go over, only by £5 every so often and have had maybe 3 big bills during the last 18 months £60

they offered him similar min etc to me but would not offer any decent phones, the best being bb 8520, there was talk of HTC hero but not sure what was said

unfortunately he can get far better deal getting a new contract
