to lufcgirl
advice please on how much i could push for,
ive been with orange for years now
current contract is running over the expiry date by 3/4 months
before i was on 700 mins, unlimited texts, free mob and free insurance for 30 pounds but always seemed to average monthly bills between 30 - 60
since going over my contact im paying £65pm now so seriously need to sort a deal.
I would like the HTC hero as i hear only praise for that phone, and the next best thing to the iphone
Ideally i would like unlimited texting, unlimited internet, dont need as many minutes as before, free insurance, for £20 or under.
could i likely get something alike to that
Or is there anyone out there that has had good retention deals through orange including the htc hero phone please???0 -
Hi, I am not sure if anyone can help but I have tried to agree an upgrade with Orange but they are not willing to offer the deal I need.
I currently have a very lowt £10pm contract but want to upgrade this to the Nokia 5800 with a couple of hundred mins / texts but I really need unlimited internet access.
The only deal they are offering is 200 mins / unlimited texts / 80mb internet and £65 ish towards the handset.
I have looked around at other providers and can get a better deal but I really want to stay with orange.
Do you have any ideas how I can get unlimited (500mb) internet, without any extra cost. I have spoken to retentions but they do not appear to want to keep my business, any ideas greatly received.

Mils - You can't and will never get free insurance, the price plan will have been discounted so that the insurance looks free but will always be charged due to FSA regulations. With the Hero being a high value phone, I reckon you may be able to get something like 400mins, unlimited texts for £25 per month and then the 500mb of internet is usually £5 p/m but they may be able to discount the price plan by £5 each month to make it look free. Or drop it to £20 for 200mins, unlimited texts. You won't be able to get more money off to make the insurance look free due to the cost of the Hero.0

1000mins per month x network
unlimited texts
ulimited mobile internet
6 months free insurance
and a Samsung Omnia HD which I unlocked and debranded and just sold on ebay for £270
the total deal £14.87 a month, bargain I reckon!0 -
Thanks lufcgirl, it'll either be the X10 or Xperia2. Both look good good anyway, as long as it's not the X missus I'll be happy!0

lufcgirl, lots of the users are talking about an Unlimited Internet bundle? Is there such a thing available as I was told that as soon as they launch such a bundle it can be added to my account for free but at the time (A week and a bit ago) they only offered 500mb. Can you shed any light on this.
Thanks. :j0
