Comments

  • £10 per month
    • Free Landline calls
    • 100 Txts
    • 300 mins any time any network

this seems to be a standard offer being made all round at the moment.
I am 12 months into an 18 month contract and they have sent this offer to me as a review on my account, I had 800 minutes originally.
I have accepted the change saving £25 per month for 6 months but am looking forward to what gets offered in 6 months time when the contract finishes

My contract expires on Monday. I phoned retentions and got:

    Free C902
    300 mins
    100 txt
    18 months
    in car charger
    4 GB memory card
Free web (upto 500 mb per month)

    for £15 a month.

Slightly better than a previous offer (see previous post) and a little earlier also.

I see others have similar for £10 a month but guess I couldn't push it any further.

You've basically got the £10pm deal, cos the internet costs £5. :)
  • Had a 30 day SIM from Orange (£50 cashback in July) on a £10 tariff - wanted the PAC code to transfer to Vodafone. Orange asked if there was anyway they could keep me - I said I didn't want a new phone ......

    Orange offered 600 xnet minutes
    100 texts
    unltd anytime landline calls
    still on a 30 day SIM ;) for £9.79

Finally got through to someone with some common sense and a touch of customer service. I'm a band 2 customer, you can find that out from your local Orange branch.

Nokia N85 - one off payment of £60.50.
    18 month contract
Dolphin 25 - 200 min and unlimited texts
    £15pm.

Happy with that :) Need to see if I want to keep my N95 or move to my new N85 now!

I'm due for renewing my contract on the 4th March, so thought i'd see what kind of deal i could get. I really want the HTC Touch HD, but got a bit worried about what others had said on here in and the offers which they being offered. So anyway, thought i'd bite the bullet and rung 150 and spoke to CS (i'm a premier customer too) i didn't speak to retentions, just CS.

He asked what i had in mind and i said HTC Touch HD and that i wanted to lower my minutes as i wasn't using anywhere near my current minutes (my current tarrif was Dolphin 35 600 xnet mins & unlimited texts, no add ons or anything). This is what he offered me...

    HTC Touch HD for free
    Dolphin 35 (600 xnet minutes & unlimited texts) £30
500mb internet bundle for free (current promotion apparently)

I then asked if i could lower my minutes and the price to 400 xnet minutes and unlimited texts (£25) and still get the handset free. He again said yes. Although he did warn me that because the warehouse where the HTC Touch HD is dispatched from is in Bristol they wont be able to send the phone out until Monday due to the snow!

I asked if i could phone up on Monday and get the same deal he said of course and i'll give you some advice, when you next call ask for rententions and say the offer i've mentioned isn't to your requirements and he said they'd most likely offer you the same tarriff but cheaper than i can, which i would've done anyway if the offer was awful. So i left it at that and will most likely do that tomorrow!

I was shocked i could get the HD for free without going through retentions, so hopefully they can offer me an even better deal!

I just phoned up Orange to get my pac code for my wife.Shee wanted to go the 12 month contract with O2,as they were offering 800 x network mins, and unlimted text.Retentions offered me 700 xnetwork mins and unlimted text for £20 a month. She stays on sim only, and I can keep her as one of my magic numbers.

She has only been on sim only since August last year.

    Finally got sorted
Wanted N95 8GB - was offered it for £174 with £200 credit on £15 pm for 300mins, 100 texts and unlimited web. Phone out of stock at the time. After waiting weeks they finally got them in only to be told that cashback was only £174 and monthy tariff was £25 - no record of the previous offer
As suggested on here I emailed Exec Office. A very nice lady said that she could see the original offer and would let me have the phone for free on the £15pm tariff with £26 credit.
N85 was now out so got that instead - seems to do the same but with better battery life:j
