Go easy on yourself @Willowtree222, it sounds like it's been a very busy and emotional time for you.
You've recognised the spending and are planning to deal with it, that in itself is an achievement - it would be far easier to bury your head, but you're not.
You've got this, sending lots of hugs xxMortgage (MFD 04/2053) (Jan 25) £238,983.71. Overpayment set to £200 per month. Current: £235,066.98

Thanks. I'm going easy on myself. It's been a tough few months and it could have been a lot worse than it is.
Everything will be resolved in some way.

And to top everything off, I have a water infection, and also, my ear isn't feeling great. There are two pains I hate more than any other. Toothache and earache.
I'm just hoping it doesn't develop. I'm on antibiotics already.September 2017 Debt = £25330

Ok,
Honesty post.
I'm minus £63 into my overdraft and have had to pull money from my savings for it.
I'm owed £245 from a friend that should have been in Monday. All of my income hasn't come in yet as I have 4 pay days. I'm still owed £490 from income. Bills will be covered once it all comes in.
I've properly overspent on everything. Shopping has been my biggest downfall.
Have an eye test today. It's been 7 years since my last one and I'm struggling with small print now.

Willow, I agree you should be kind to yourself. I’ve been following you for a long time, the thread before this one too and if you think how far you’ve come and the hurdles you’ve had to overcome, especially with DD’s Dad and his attitude to money,I think you should be really proud of yourself.

That was a tough time as well. However, I got through it. Grateful for what I have now and how far I have come. I also know I can't take it for granted as things change in a heartbeat.
I also know I got here by not over spending and overpaying and the determination to keep the house and succeed. I still need that in my head.
