So sorry to hear about the rabbits and DD’s grandad. It’s a lot for her to process. Sounds like you both need a break away.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪1 -
Thank you. She has found it hard, and it will take her time to deal with it.

This holiday is just flying by.
DD still struggling and keeps wanting to check on her hamster, which is understandable. I have said no a few times as constantly disturbing him isn't good for him either. She does understand this and has been fine with it.
Garden is finished now and second skip removed, living room will be finished next week probably as needs wallpaper and the media wall finishing.
Conservatory was gutted yesterday and thoroughly cleaned as the rabbits used it as an indoor home. It was hard cleaning it out knowing it would stay clean. Their things have been packed away in the garage. A lot was left at my sisters so will leave that there until next week and collect when DD is out.
Feeling really tired tonight for some reason.
Money is ok. I am managing the pay a lot better and hoping to build a months bill payment to ensure there is always enough.

Just catching up after ages, well done to DD on her awards & great report.
All of your makes are beautiful as well, I wish I had the patience (& talent 😂) to do half as well as you.Sending hugs for the loss of your rabbits. 😢 It’s hard losing a pet and two close together is even tougher. They are just little furry members of your family. I hope DD is coping ok.

Thanks for your kindness about the rabbits. I think people see them as a lesser pet but they were our babies. One we had for 8 years, the other was the cheekiest, funniest pet I have ever had. He used to knock on the door for me to open it and stare at me through the window.
DD and I have taken a break. We are currently in Kos after flying out this morning.
I have indulged with my summer money following my health scare this year.
