Morning!

I have a day off today. I have DD but nothing booked in the calendar. I said these holidays have been the busiest and they have. Yesterday I did a balloon set up for a 21st.

Sunday DD has a club and is with her dad. Monday I have plans and then Tuesday I return to work.

I got paid yesterday. All the bills will be coming out of that. I changed the euros back and got £50 back. £10 to DD from her money.

All holidays clothes washed and sorted. The cases are ready to be returned to the loft, which I will do this weekend.

I forgot I had the free electricity hour today so decided to do the dishwasher, washer and use the kettle multiple times to disinfect all the drains. I also heated the house for an hour as it felt chilly. If it wasn't an hour free, I would have left it, but as it free, I put it on.

Next week is another busy week however, once DD returns to school on the 7th, it should quieten down.

Busy jobs day today.

We didn't make DD's club. I had been up a lot in the night and DD was fast asleep. I did wake her and ask if she wanted to go and she asked not. We will start again next week when schools are back.

I cleaned her room and did two lots of washing. One managed to be dried on the line before the rain hit. The second is on the heated airer.

All holiday items put back in the loft.

I have been purchasing some Christmas presents as well and they have gone into the loft with the Christmas items to come down in December.

Emptied the bins upstairs and started to remove the kitchen items ready for it being decorated on Tuesday.

Pay is okay. Still working at building that month buffer. It will take a few months to achieve that.

My first time in my new school this week. That was a wake up shock to the system!

DD doesn't go back until Monday so we are visiting the zoo tomorrow as we are hoping it will be really quiet with lots of people now back at school.

We should hopefully get there when it opens and have the full day to see everything. We are taking her friend as well, so that will be lovely for DD.

Next week all of my work returns and I get back to being really busy.

Everything else is just moving along as usual!

We went to our local zoo today and it was lovely, as most of the schools are now back. We are members and go often, went about 2 weeks ago and it was heaving. Good for the zoo but not to the people who go when the numbers are low. Enjoy your visit tomorrow.

We went to the zoo yesterday and had a lovely day. Did tons of walking!

I got notification when I arrived that a four and a half year legal battle had officially been closed. Can not even describe the relief considering the weight of what had happened over those years. I had some champagne last night to celebrate.

Next week is a full week back in all of my jobs. That will be tiring after working from home a lot over the past few months.

The kitchen has been decorated now, which means the living room, kitchen and garden are complete.

The conservatory and bathroom will be done this week.

The ensuite is being done at the end of October and then hall, stairs and landing after that. That will be the house completely refreshed. Taken ages to save for this, but now looks totally worth it.
