I have been asked to prepare a raffle item for a band concert. I am not here when it takes place so that is my contribution. I have done this

Day one of garden renovation and I have made full use of the skip being here. Garage items too big for the bin have gone in.

They have achieved so much today already. I think it will take two weeks to complete. I am excited for what it will look like.

I also got the electrician here to put a cable from the garage to the shed to ensure the shed then gets some power. Glad I had the foresight to do this as it would have been harder after the garden was done. As it is, the cable has been pretty much buried.

Money for all of this has been accounted for last year, so it is going ahead ok.

Had a huge declutter over the last few days, so much has left the house, or is about to leave. Monday will be a day when a lot more goes.

Money is ok. I am trying to manage and sort out all the pay days as well as the outgoings. Slowly getting there.

Tomorrow DD and I are going out on a day trip. Next week is another busy week with lots of appointments. This is the busiest holiday I have ever had! It will be worth it though when all the work is done and all the appointments are complete. I should have answers I have been waiting years for.

In September, I have been able to reduce my hours, which will give me a much needed study day every week.

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪

    Another busy week.

DD needed clothes and shoes for holiday, but hates trying on shoes. Eventually managed to get her to try some trainers on and we found two pairs that fitted so I bought them both. It is easier to stock up where I can than in 6 months have to do it again. Her feet are slow growing so should be ok. Her other trainers were rubbing. I might be tempted to buy the next size again as stock as once she has a trainer she likes, she just wants to stick with them. She has had holes, soles falling off and still refusing to get new.

Renovations are well underway so the whole house is in chaos. All downstairs stuff is everywhere whilst it takes place. But it will be totally worth it when it is done.

Our beloved rabbit passed away yesterday. He was 8 so was a pensioner in rabbit years. He was staying at my sisters whilst the garden was being done and looked like he had passed whilst asleep. I brought him home and he is buried. I will get him a nice plant as well to put over him.

We are away this weekend with our band friends. That will be lovely as well.

I have my second hospital appointment of the week this morning. Got my third on Friday. Will have answers though, so despite the absolute discomfort I am in, it should be worth it.

Skip two isn't quite full, so I will be adding a fair few bits once the building work is mostly completed on Friday. It is due to be collected at the weekend so will be filling it!
