He had DD for an hour today and she again wanted to return home. She's now refusing to go to his tomorrow.

What a long week.
Money is fine and I am budgetting well, for once!
I came home yesterday to a cheque for £50. I play a local lottery and have won a few times. This one was £50, which is good. I actually think I'm going to treat myself to a night in. New pjs, candle, wine, crisps and chocolate. That'll give me a nice treat night for myself. Might even get a bubble bath if I can!
Shopping today. Budget is £50 as I do need a few more bits. I'm happy that I'm stil ING to the budgets as much as I can.
DD has been offered drum lessons in school so she's going to be having them soon. Think they start up in a week. See if she likes them. That's £38 a month, but I'll find that from reduced phone bill.

I did treat myself to some new pjs. It was 25% off so was able to get another few bits. I didn't spend the whole £50.
It's my birthday month this month, and my mum is asking what I'd like so I could always ask if there's something else I see.as a treat.
We.also do a birthday collection in work. It's mine next and because of the complexities of my diet and skin, they've asked me what I want so I've asked for a supermarket voucher that sells clothes and other things. At first they were reluctant, but now they have understood that it's hard to get it right for me, so this is what I'd like. Just the knowledge that I can buy exactly what I want and won't have to open presents I can't have or use. They get it now. Last birthday, I couldn't eat or drink most of the presents I received.
I've reviewed accounts for the month and can now see where I'm over spending. It's the shopping category. Not groceries but purchases for various bits online. Most of it isn't mine, but it's the odd £20 here and there that has really hit over £400. £60 was the birthday monies and I got £50 back for those. DD also bought a few bits. I got her some new shoes and trainers, but it all adds up. I need to watch this category over the next few months. This is what the problem is. It's my emotional spending side too.

At least you’ve acknowledged where you’re overspending and can see why you’re doing it. It’s a start and you can work on it. I think most of us are a work in progress so you’re not alone in this.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thank you. It was an eye opener as the odd £20 didn't flag up any concerns until I've been tracking and can see it's way over £400. When I looked deeper into it, it was actually mostly not for me. I've had cash for some bits of it, but cash just gets absorbed in my purse for various bits. I need to be more on this as it's my biggest unexpected spend. I've got a 0 budget for this kind of thing, which in reality is unrealistic. £400 is also not a realistic budget either. I need to rethink this category.
New pjs do give you a nice feeling.

Didn't share yesterday in case it went wrong! I played in a concert last night. I've been learning the Baritone horn for a few months and the main band we are associated with had a concert and we did three songs
DD is also in this band but refused to play as she said she didn't want to. I didn't push her but she changed her mind last minute and did play one song with us. The conductor got her conducting to include her in the other two songs. I'm proud of her as she said she was too anxious, but then did come and join. It's my first time playing for the public.
Playing a bass instrument is not easy at all. The main band were amazing.
No spends today. My aunties cancer has spread. I've been relaxing instead. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
