I don't think so.Blonde64 said:
Do you think its worth e mailing the MCOL with the print out and explaining the mistake? thanks
The MCOL Claim History confirms that a Default Judgment has not yet been issued.
The only 'mistake' appears to be of Elms making.
Interestingly, it appears that Elms have recently fallen out of favour with VCS, so perhaps they aren't being as careful as they should be.
The simple answer is the box on the MCOL website isn't big enough for the Defence you want to file. Apparently using that box also plays havoc with the formatting making the Defence difficult to read. This is explained in the NEWBIES thread.Blonde64 said:Can I ask why we e mail to them and don't upload on the website where is says start defence ?3 -
It's not fit for purpose in parking claims , it's archaic , they should change it to uploads or emails only
Perhaps they are using an old windows 98 pc , or a commodore c64 ?? 😁😁🤔🤔😆2 -
Morning all received these this morning does this mean I got in there first and still to ignore the elms letter ?
Many thanks

Carole, anyone clicking on either of those two links will now know your full name. That's without even seeing what you are trying to show us. Suggest you now edit your post to remove those links to protect your privacy.
Also, I am not sure there are many people here who would be happy to download any file from an unknown person to their computer. Certainly not for me.3 -
Removed thanks1

Hi, have received 2 x N180 forms which I have filled out as per the newbie thread, and on MCOL it says defence received and DQ sent does this mean I got in there first and can I still ignore the elms letter? Also probably a daft question but do you add D
e mail and phone number cant find anything on the threads to say whether or not this bit gets filled in ? and does it then get
e mailed to the same address as the defence or is it uploaded onto MCOL thanks0 -
Are the N180 forms for the same case, different cases or is one from CCBC and one from the claimant? Whatever, they go to the same address as the one you used for your defence, as per the instructions in the NEWBIE sticky or in the instructions that came along with the standard defence template. Nothing goes on MCOL. Don't forget to serve n the claimant - address on the original claim form.2

on MCOL it says defence received and DQ sent does this mean I got in there first?Yes it means your Defence was accepted in time.
Don't put a phone number on a form that you are emailing to Elms.does it then get e mailed to the same address as the defence or is it uploaded onto MCOL thanksThe instructions in the TEMPLATE DEFENCE thread tell you the answer re the 2 emails to send it to. You are not using MCOL to submit anything at all and after DQ stage the CCBC will no longer be involved at all as it will get allocated to your local court after that.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD2 -
Your claim history shows communications between you and the CCBC , nothing else
All it means is you are at the DQ stage and to email completed n180 to the ccbcaq email address , so twice for 2 claims , Copy in the claimant or their lawyers , as required , so using CC in the TO section of your email
Nothing is done on the MCOL site , consider it as read only ! Nothing more
File any DQ issued by the claimant or their lawyers , no response at all
The defence template thread has the bullet points to follow , you are halfway through
Guidance is also given in the newbies FAQ sticky thread2 -
thanks also they said to consolidate the forms will be £255 is that correct ?0
