I can recommend zipvit too. I take it for my knees.... the 1500mg. They are very reasonable and quick.

Many thanks for your help. Have written to my gp to see if they will/won't prescribe as it has been recommended by my consultant. Not holding my breath on this one though.0

Hubby got it prescribed by his GP after he asked, but he only prescribe 30 tablets a day and to be reviewed in 3 months. Such a hassle, I think he prefers to buy it rather than going to see GP again. Just wonder when they write prescription whether it comes from their budget.0

30 tablets a day? I bet he rattles when he walks doesn't he? :rotfl:0 -
Not sure about the cheapest but I would recommend Healthspan http://www.healthspan.co.uk/
Just checked and 1000mg 360 tablets is £10.95"0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -
Have a look at this article. http://www.arthritis-glucosamine.net/article-detail.php?ID=104
You must be sure to buy a high quality product and preferably in liquid form. I'd also recommend Healthspan.Member #7 SKI-ers Club

as mentioned - look for the strentgh of the main ingredient when shopping - check prices and delivery, some people swear by different makes giving different outcomes...... im happy with healthy direct..... others are happy with healthspan.....
i have just switched over to glucosamine and chondroitin as i have had 3 knee ops and need the extra substance from the chondroitin to ease knee mobility......
if unsure try glucosamine first, give it at least 4 weeks - with me i noticed the difference within 2 weeks and also proved it by stopping and suffered discomfort within a week.... is it psychosematic... who knows, but i feel it has improved the mobility of my knee joints......smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Oops, it's a typo mistake, I meant to say 30 tablets a month not a day.0
