Morning
lil_me (((((((hugs)))))
Rach I like the first one.
SM yay! well done. woot!
Really wasn't well yesterday so spent the entire day lying down in my dressing gown, I feel a little better today, still coughing and spluttering though  Littley's also off school with a very sore throat although she's currently scoffing down a hot dog bun (!!!!!!? lol) it's all I could get her to eat. Hoping to get her room done today (it's a pig sty) am also waiting of the council to come and do a couple of repairs  one of which turned up yesterday and was the plumber instead of the electrician  oooh look at me full of rolling eyes already
Thanks to Julie for my Christmas card which arrived yesterday, very neat handwriting
Speaking of the council, he's here fixing my back door, but this one's a mate, known him for years.
Best go x0 -

Aimee Good Luck with the kitchen I know how it can take over the entire house when you're getting one fitted - nightmare, but then you're left with a sparkly new room at the end of it so it's worth the upheaval.
I forgot to do my list, I've already tidied and swept my living room.
empty DW
wipe worktops down
bag of rubbish in bin outside
remake master bed (yukky poorly sweat - it stinks doesn't it)
LITTLEYS ROOM
Teenies room
^^^^ strip and remake both beds.
I'll be quite satisfied if I get all that done.
Also need to hunt out some money from somewhere, I need electric and £10 for teenies night out tonight (we went to the panto - he's going to the pictures) best get me stockings on.0 -
Rach out of those I prefered the top one aswell, false economy not buying the one you really want for your first home together as you'll just have to buy another later. Been there! 3 budget beds later got the one I wanted
Sorry for making so many so teary eyed this morning, Aimee, I know what you mean. DPs Mam is home next week for 3 days then she'll be back in Iraq for Xmas, wish she wasn't such a selfish person to be honest but worrying all the same. 4 friends are home for Xmas, 2 still on duty on their UK bases, 4 will be still out on various posts in the far east so that poem definately strikes a cord with me. There are quite a few military families where I have just moved to, seeing a little girls face when Daddy came to collect her from school as a suprise when he got home was wonderful.
Right enough of all that, Aimee best of luck with the kitchen, embb pleased you're feeling a bit better (we've all got it here too so a hug and a cough from us) as long as littlies eating, I've made baked potato and beans for DS2 at 6am when he's been poorly before. Michelle, I would have gone in for you, Johnny Ball was one of my heros when I was at school, I loved science, I had all the chemistry etc sets he did where you got a tape talking you through each one, oh the memories of the smelly messes I used to make, setting fire to Mam's table cloth with a burner etcShell, Julie, Aimee thanks for the cards, worried about the messy writing on mine now, you lot must be much tidier people than me
Rest of mine will be posted today I promise.
Oh goody, 2 more parcels have arrived, one from Studio (hmm wonder when the other 3 might get here) and one from Bootswhich should have my Dad's in there. Time to go and investigate, need to wrap and pack the present I need to post aswell today...oh too much to do and not enough time! First things first, coffee, after that I will try and remember how to put the futon in DS1s room back into a chair, oh and have a look for Machine Mart codes but I think I am out of luck there.
Shirley, Nicki, Becca, Esther and all the other missing Flylady's I hope you are all ok.....
Where is Pigpen this morning, hope she's not still in bed :rotfl:Dusty's usually popped in by now aswell, see Christmas chaos and morning routine of kids up, coffee & MSE are all naffed up!One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Just had an email from RSPB with a card tree reduced, in case anyone interested.

You're a STAR! *mwah* :T
Back door's now fixed woohoo! and littleys room is all tidied, her dressing table cleared of all junk too (I hate bits of doll stuff) and her little xmas tree is ready to decorate though I've told her she can't have it switched on all the time cause of the leccy :rotfl: she just gave me 'the look' lol just need to go and get OH's hoover later on when he surfaces.
I've given up with Christmas now, it's making me feel ill worrying about it, they've got what they've got and that will have to do though I've still got some to buy. Hope teenies pool table arrives we'll have hours of fun (and many arguments) with that I'm sure
Am I the only one that didn't receive cards from shell and AnW'smumthey haven't come yet

Right,
back home for a bit - feeling a bit cross with myself as i managed to twang my wing mirror on my car this morning cos i was rushing and misjudged a gap. Nice scratch on it, and the electric bit of it will go up and down but not side to side. Could be much worse though. Just rang DH to tell him and he didn't shout - more concerned about me, whereas i am cross as i always spoil a new thing very quickly after getting it. DH will have to look at it for me over the weekend as it was very rattly and i couldn't see anything useful in it driving home.
Managed to fill the car up with petrol, and treat myself to a yorkie and some banana milk. Want to get a good few things done, so had best start in a second or nothing will get done.
Rach i preferred the 1st one too, so looks like we all have similar taste.
aimee hugs, Mum was without a kitchen for 3 months while they did hers so i know what you mean about mess and disruption.
Anyway, short list to start me off:- charlie dark load in WM
- clean kitchen sink and drainer
- change charlie's cot
- change our bedding
- hang up wet washing and sort another load to put on when i get in
- order some DVDs for a xmas pressie for BIL

Morning all
Two loads of washing done, including DD's bedding, hung outside but I might get it back in because it's doing nothing out there.
Vacuumed right through downstairs.
S&Sd kitchen.
One of the drawers from DD's chest was hanging limply when I went in there this morning to put stuff away - she never mentioned it! I've got out my trusty No Nails and reassembled it and tied it with string to hold it tight while it glues. Hopefully it will be OK later.
Wiped No Nails off kitchen tablecloth.......DH asked how I got it everywhere. Just natural talent I think.
I read a bit of the soldier poem but I couldn't read it properly because I knew I'd get upset.0 -
Just noticed Panasonic breadmaker half price at Amazon on grabbit board and I've ordered one. Hope this helps someone else.Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0
