Oh Michelle, what a horrible brat, I hope they informed his parents, saying that there are many who don't care. I would throttle my kids if they did anything like that! Enjoy your night off, make sure you put something on your hands.

Pigpen, knew you'd be hiding somewhere, sounds like it's been sugary fun in your house today, have fun this evening :)

Well watching the dvd was great then the kids turned into devils as soon as it finished. Hence now in bed, well supposed to be. Think I'll finish watching Eastenders then shop around a bit for DPs present.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • i've calmed down a lot now. Just opened the post, and found my car needs taxing this month (did think it was next - but hey ho) so bought that online, and moved some money from the current account to the savings account for now. Will probably move it back in january to pay CC bills but it may as well earn some money for now. Also, DH and my cars are due MOT next month so i will try and book that in so it is done before or over the hols for minimum fuss. Also, house insurance up for renewal. Why do all the bills come at once, and with these annual ones, i tend to forget it is coming just then.

Don't know what will happen with the kid. He is new to the school and living with carers not parents. Don't think much was done with him today apart from sitting him outside the heads office for the afternoon as it was last lesson. It was the only lesson he had been in today, as he had been in isolation all day for something else. One thing is for sure, i don't want to see him again till after xmas at least, and if they try to force me too, then i will tell them i can not teach the class due to concerns for my safety. The boy seems a bit unstable. He was weird in lesson the other day, and i am going to put mine and the baby's health first. I don't need shocks like that. And if another kid gives me any grief next week, i am going off on the sick, as i am fed up of being treat like scum for trying to teach them when the school should just get rid. Nice to feel supported isn't it. We don't exclude anyone externally because we like to be inclusive. Shame, because inclusive to me is like the 2 lovely autistic boys in my form who can behave so much better than some of the others.

Don't want to rant anymore, so bit more chilling i think.

Hands are liberally smothered in cream, and won't go anywhere near water or nappies for as long as possible. ;) Hope DH doesn't come in and tell me he isn't going to be around this weekend.

    Enjoy your evening girls.

LBNBNBL - glad you got through the week. At least you break up on Wednesday. We are doing the long haul till Friday, but i finish thursday so i can go for my scan on the friday in peace. That's if i haven't been killed by an axe weilding nutter by then (i say only half jokingly.... :D )

Michelle - hugs to you, what a nightmare!
Lil_me - thankyour for sharing that poem. It must have been a shock to have seen your friend on the news. Hugs to you.

DH is lying on the sofa feeling rather tender! I'm trying to be kind and sympathetic but then I have had two children and countless other ops and stuff. Saying that, he's always nice to me so I will be nice. I even went and got him beers and a takeaway! Think he's still in shock! Just done some general tidying today as not been in to do a proper list xx

    Nothing left!
  • oh, to make you all smile.

one of the autistic boys said to me today,

Miss, why do you always drink water?
I replied, it is really healthy for me, so i try to drink a lot every day.
he then said, i think you are drinking too much of it, as it is making you really fat.
i was nearly rolling about laughing by this point. If only it was just the water. I don't think he has twigged i am pregnant, or that i won't be around for all of next year. Bless him. :rotfl:

and, i have just had a mini-crisis. I couldn't find the corkscrew - it has been so long since i opened a bottle of wine i thought i may have flung it by mistake. Luckily it was where i left it, but it took me a while as it is the posh one we got on our wedding list, not the cheap white one that used to hang from a hook on the wall for easy access

 to everyone having a glass of wine! I have given up with DD, she is beside me as I type, looking at the Christmas cards. I need to make a list to calm my brain and help me sleep, but DD is like a Jack in the box, in and out of bed. Never mind, I am just going to have to roll with it!

    well done Tia :)

    michelle -
nightmare. hope things are ok between you and OH, you seem to be struggling a bit recently (i'll mind my own business if you'd rather - we're just all concerned about you!)
feel sleepy tonight and OH is dozy next to me on the sofa here. although he looks a lot better than he did last weekend - antibiotics are working then :) was worried about him.

i just had HM soup from the freezer for tea and OH enjoyed the chilli i made him. then we both fancied yoghurts but had none so i nipped to the little tesco down the road. lil_me thankfully not icy here, guess we're a lot further south than you (though it is very cold) and being near the sea helps - i''m only half a mile away.
think i will put my pjs on and make a cuppa, think we'll both be early to bed tonight though. think i had less than 6 hours last night.
