ASB.. I am so pleased you are taking some time for your mental health.. you are an inspiration to your children and your students.
Fayolle.. he has absolutely reverted to child and I know there was a fair amount of trauma and I am on close watch for that. He still masks emotions so I am turning to counselling training to draw some of that out.
Re Squeak, I have said OH should speak to her because I will just cry the second she gets upset because that is what I do. I said she needs to know this is very very serious and not to use words which may misconstrue the worst case scenario. Hopefully we are all worried about nothing and everything will be fine.. *gives Pollyanna the mum-look* I am so going to have to give that talk. It is part of being a grown up right? (Even though Twinkle told me yesterday I am not a grown up but OH is!)Todailies (I don't know what day it is!)I have 2 ebeast items to package and post.. they are being posted tomorrow which is a bit late but I simply do not have the money to send them today.Kitchen S&SFood shop for Friday.I HAVE to sort something in my room.. Up and showered
Bed turned down to air. WUALTD; cat dishes currently soaking. Brought recycling bins on. My 'plastics' bin was maybe only a third full - they emptied the glass tray but forgot to empty the bin. I won't bother phoning - I *think* I might be ok for a fortnight.
2 letters from horse piddle - 1 to GP saying I need iron - GP has me in for a blood test to double check that. And I'm booked for a CT scan on Sunday morning. When I look at the raft of treatment/tests I've had so far or am booked for - well I'm grateful to the NHS. I don't think it's perfect - but its bloody good!

Hello all. Hugs to everyone who needs them.
I walked the dogs, did first work shift, some admin, dailies, hoovered through and I've cut the grass out back again. Back to paid stuff shortly.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Bathrooms cleaned. Bed remade. HHI. 2 loads of washing out. DW running. Car service and MOT booked. DDs plans for the day have changed again, so she has sunk into a mood of despair which bodes ill for later. I ought to run the vacuum cleaner around but I am bored with thinking about it.9

Evening all
well, I feel like I’ve had a productive day around the paid stuff...
downstairs loo and utility swished and tidied
bins emptied, washed out and left in the garden for the afternoon to dry
wm x 1 washed, dried on line, and folded (ironing is DH job)
office and spare room hoovered and dusted
top landing and top stairs hoovered
bathroom cleaned thoroughly
en suite scrubbed apart from the shower, going to do that later when I’m in there!DH has gone to do the food shop now, supper of pasta salad already prepped so will just have to set the DW going and reset the kitchen later.
hugs to all x8 -
I slept for a large chunk of the afternoon, hardly surprising given how much stress I was holding in. Words can't describe how much better I feel just for taking the step of speaking up and admitting I'm not coping. Again, I wouldn't have done it were it not for you lovely lot.
Small load washed and line dried. Tomorrow a friend is coming to cut the grass for me, in exchange for 6 eggs and a bacon buttie 😉. I am starting to do a freezer tidy up, so he will be having his breakfast on a brioche bun, I've had a packet lurking for ages. He will neither notice nor care!I have just been out to water the courgettes, raspberries and strawberries. First thing I will strip the bed and get that in to wash. The DW has been on, and I've started another bin bag for the chazza. Sleep well all x10 -
Yesterday I pulled the baby cardigan back apart...not pleased with how it was going. I've knitted it and a front (right front) and it looks much neater. Mum came down and brought Scrabble. We had 3 games Valli 2 Aged P 1. Happy with that.
Washing brought in (bedding and whites) and laundry basket almost empty.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Today I have
- stripped my bed
- washed bedding and WMx2 more; hung out to dry
- dusted all downstairs rooms
- cleaned inside downstairs windows and mirrors
- hoovered through quickly downstairs (I was going to do it thoroughly, but DH has someone coming to see him tomorrow, so it will need to be done again in the morning because Rosie is moulting)
- rung the kennels and changed Rosie's booking so that I can take her in the morning: this saves rearranging a horse piddle appointment
- pulled up a few weeds from the raised bed
- taken Rosie for her favourite walk
- done some Treasurer's bits (emails, ledger headings...)
- talked to DS1
- written lists of things to be done tomorrow and by the time we go away
- re-made my bed. which I am about to fall into, because like asb I am shattered.
DS2 and family have had a quiet day at home. He is still feeling - and being - sick, but he's had a bath todayHe's definitely not going back to work for 2-3 weeks.
G'night all. Hope not to join the WAC - I slept through the past two nights.9 -
Morning folks
Piggers Sorry for your news about Mil. Hope for the bestest journey possible. Tough times to go through for all of you.
Iona hope you got a good sleep. Hope your ds is on the mend soon.
Round I must repeat how impressed I am with your stamina and achievements in your house sorting. Good luck for your op.
Asb Big hugs love. Well done for taking time out.
I have emptied my bin.9 -
Morning xx
Thank you dancemum xx Two secondary school jumpers removed from the ottoman this morning- one now in the rag bag and one in a bag for for DS (he said he'd like to keep one). All that's left in the ottoman now is a fitted bottom sheet, a valance and net curtains. The end is in sight 😊.
I'm going to feed the birds and head off to the paid stuff. Running on fumes as it's been a busy week and I've had a new person in the office with me. She's very nice but it means I have to 'people' even more than usual. I'm shattered.
Have a good day.
Love you
