I am so relived that I went to bed last night at 8.30pm slept until 5.45am (but I needed to) got up showered etc, been on the beach since stupid o’clock walking, all this self isolation was not good for my waist line.

Made myself a long list of ‘stuff’ to keep me busy, so far sorted out my brief case, I am now in a position to consider doing my tax returns, shredded loads of paperwork, mended my wardrobe, turned up 2 pairs of trousers, cleaned, cleaned again.

 

My thoughts to you all, and thank you to those that sent mail. I will get round to you.

As I have been on tender hooks for days, these are now free to anyone who wants / needs then, help yourselves.

 I have hoovered and put the rubbish out!

I have done my first shift, dailies, walked dogs and been into town combining second jab with a little shopping.

Huge (((hugs))) for Ionafan, Kaz, Fayolle and ASB and everyone else who is feeling pounded by life at the moment, plus *healing vibes* for Valli (hurrah for sicknotes!) and Pigpen's pounding head. 

Two froggie Areas of Doom were nibbled yesterday and I think I've worked out how to deal with both of them, so that's progress.  And I'm the same weight as I was yesterday morning, which is better than putting any on.

Afternoon, I'm here but not. I can't stop falling asleep on the sofa. I'm also still in my pj's mainly due to me not being bothered about having a shower 🥺 Plus it's hot in the house, and outside, and I don't do hot.

I'm sure I'll perk up later, if not I'll take a couple of energy tablets.

Oh kaz I'm so sorry to read this. Sending you all the love and strength I have spare.

I have contacted the doctors through their online service. Thank you so much for giving me the courage and making me realise it is okay to put myself first. I genuinely wouldn't have dared to do it without your support. I have put the washing away and walked the dog. Will shortly collect the children from sports club then it is a relaxing evening indoors XX

Wow, Kaz, that's been a horrid month for you both!  Fingers crossed it's all gone and your OH is home very soon.  Thinking of you both. 

Thanks for freeing up the tenterhooks.  I have made use of them today.  DS2 had a second CT scan at lunchtime.  There had been a possible anomaly on the first, but that turned out to be a red herring.  However, it made the medics take a closer look, and they have discovered that one of the arteries in the back of DS2's head splits (unusually) into two.  Apparently this can cause the kind of symptoms he's been experiencing.  So now he has to take blood thinners.  I don't know whether to be relieved of worried, but am tending towards the former.  He is being sent home today, so I'm waiting for the call.

I have hung out the washing and WULTD.

And Iona the not knowing is horrible, hoping for some good news for you.

ASB you are absolutely right to put yourself first.  I know what you mean about it being hard to admit that you need a bit of help but you have done the right thing.

Sending strength to anyone else having a hard time.  Paid stuff done and I treated myself to an hour in the garden with my book.  Veggie shepherds pie that I made yesterday is now reheating, I have a meeting at 6.30pm.  Washing is out in the sun and I have run the cordless vac around, the kitchen floor could do with mopping.

Just making a list so that I can update my online shopping order.  Our little touristy town is rammed with people and the one supermarket was ridiculously busy yesterday.  I cant face that right now.

Goodness what a tough flylady time many are having. Hugs to you all x

I have employed myself today. I allowed myself to do dailies, feed the squirrels and birds and water the seedlings before 9am then started work on some paperwork, at lunchtime I washed some the sofa throws. My afternoon job was another form to submit. I needed to ring a helpline but after 10mins x 6 then getting cut off I gave in and just typed my comments on their form. It is such a hard situation to explain as it doesn’t fit with their usual options.
After not going anyway for years we have been invited to a evening wedding reception, work party and DS1 is visiting this weekend with his newish girlfriend. I also have to go to look around a new place for DS2. I am a little overwhelmed.

DS2 is home,  DDiL and the boys are home.  I am home, DH is home, Rosie has been home all day and I haven't got the energy to take her for a walk this evening.  Everyone has been fed.
Tomorrow I will fly in this house, and I've got to buy DS2's birthday presents and make a Black Forest gateau.
