Happy Monday Dreamers snd Doers - am enjoying a WFH morning before I go into work in an hour, had a lovely weekend - yesterday was even NSD and hopefully today as well.
Splurged on boys on Saturday - had an alternative graduation celebration day at the beach and a meal out, imagine that a swim in the sea - nice - they both came along ad ds2 was only grumpy for a bit - funny enough right before we ate!
Have a lovely and imaginative week.

NSD No 6 today.
We got out for a little bit of a walk but it was so hot even at 10am that we didn't manage very far. I've done bits and pieces and ticked a few things off my list but I'm struggling. I don't cope well in heat.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -
Setting out my stall - better late than never!
Jolly – do something daily to make yourself happy. - daily canal path walks looking at/ feeding swans, ducks, moorhens and all their offspring. Squirrel watching.
Overview your finances: no debts so we are building up savings each month to ensure we can pay for (needed - think dodgy electrics and leaking bathroom which has caused some mould elsewhere as a result) works and also looking ahead to retirement plans.
Look at your good habits and smile. - getting back into daily walking. Looking to (re)add better eating and some more 'structured' exercise a couple of times/ week.
Look after yourself physically. - see above
You need fresh air. - see above! And lots of time being spent in garden getting it looking nice for the rest of the Summer
Simplicity is this month’s aim. Sorting out the house and Garden makes me feel better - a busy and wet May means things got left.
Plan the month – 1 parents evening to attend (DS3), 9 days at work, 1 birthday card to post, 1 afternoon tea to book for DH and myself, 1 son to collect at month end from uni house with all of his stuff.......
Look at your frogs and swallow one or two. Spot any tadpoles that you can squish before they grow? - want to get both tax returns done this month
Extend a hand to others.- food bank donation made and some items to donate to collection point building up in kitchen. Box of items to donate to CS and will also volunteer in there at least twice this month.
Not setting any target for NSDs!!
Grateful for the weather - including the rain, for being able to see the results of my work so far in the garden, for free books from a neighbour clearing out before moving house, for strawberries from the garden.

Well, my healthy eating seems to have paid off. I've lost 3 lbs this week. I'm enjoying my fruit and salads and I haven't touched a biscuit, piece of chocolate or alcoholic drink. I'm feeling greatly encouraged and determined. I have been buying things that are a bit more expensive than I normally would (like prawns) so that I'm eating something nice but as I'm not buying biscuits, etc I'm managing to keep within budget.
Today was positive. Got lots of jobs done (that should have been done a while ago) and started a bag for the charity shop. I'm planning to take it next Tuesday when I go to the hairdresser. It'll be the first time I've ventured into the local shopping centre since the beginning of the first lockdown. A bit apprehensive about doing it but I really must start trying to get back to some kind of normality.
Finished my book which I read in double quick time and started the next one.
