Evening, i woke up early so did a stretch and flex class on Fb, really helped my back which feels so stiff in the morning. Finished off some self employment so i'm up to date and caught up on emails for my PT job. Also sat in the garden with DD2, read lots of my book and hoovered behind the sofa and behind the sofa cushions
Gratitudes - HM scones from DD2, supportive emails from a colleague who is doing the same qualification as me; washing dry in the sunshine

Happy Wedding anniversary for tomorrow @Thrifty_Taylor - may the sun shine on you and your wildflower seeds.@mothernerd Did you know there are no moles in Ireland ? That properly does my head in.Today I got up and went to the long legged wading bird shop, and made it home again before anyone else was up or even made it downstairs. It means I got my steps in early, and I have everything I need for lunchboxes for the first 3 days of school next week. Plus it was not too horribly hot at 8am.I took the kids to the botanical gardens and did a mini photo shoot after lunch, and then sowed some seeds that I have been going to sow for ages. But this year I waited until June so that the late frosts did not kill everything.Moved all the homemade planters I have painted to their final resting places, and might go and buy compost tomorrow to fill them all up and plant up the flowers that are in plastic pots all around the place. They need to be in a permanent home. It has taken me long enough! But things got done today, bits got knocked off the list, I might not be finished, but I made significant progress today, so Yay me! Got two proper frogs off the list, so I am happy.Still on NSD 14/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

NSD No 5
Spent most of yesterday just plodding about doing this and that. It was still very hot.
Tesco delivery has just arrived. A bit early but that's all to the good. Just having a cup of tea and then I'll sort it all out and get on with what I've got on my list for today,Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -
Well, that's another half term break all done and dusted. I felt like I did actually get things done this time!Today I am grateful for the music not being on at the gym, for dd having an excellent time with her friend, for catching up with a friend, for finishing an elephant, for the tennis.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5

NSD 2 today! Just messed about in the house, drinking coffee, and planting things, doing laundry, and making pasties. All very relaxed on the last day of half term. kids have been dunked in the bath already and we seem to be readyish for school tomorrow.DS3 went flying down 3 tiny steps yesterday because he was not paying attention when running around trying to avoid his little brother, and has grazes down the right hand side of his hip and arm. They are not deep, but they are that skinned knee type of thing that you had as a kid, but don't see on kids anymore. So he was cleaned and gauze and taped up for 24 hours, and I have just stuck big pink lengths of fabric plasters on him.Hoping I will not get a phone call from school to explain why.... Erm, because he is 13 and dyspraxic in every way?4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hello turtles,Hope you’ve had a lovely sunny Sunday.OH and I tidied up the garden today before DS got back from grandparents’ caravan. Pulling weeds, cleaning slabs, and clearing out garden storage. Our tv package with the cloud company was going up from £34 to £63 next month and every month thereafter. I asked OH to call them to see if there was a better deal. The ‘lowest’ they could go was £44 including sports channels. I was mouthing ‘cancel it’ to OH while he was on the phone to the company. I was meaning specifically the sports channels but he didn’t pick up on that and cancelled the whole package. So as of July we have no tv package which I’m quite pleased about because we have accounts with every other screening service! Hopefully OH doesn’t really miss it too much and we can save on that cost every month.Running list of frugal wins in June:- NSDs 4- cancelled TV package saving at least £34 pm- got a good deal on home insurance plus £45 cashback- taken new fibre broadband contract (£2 less than what we would be paying with current)- £23.59 cashback for online purchasesGrateful for a lie-in, a sunny day, a morning walk with OH, And a tidy garden.

Evening
Been quite productive today and done dusting, cleaning and shredding. Hung up all my summer clothes and put my winter clothes in a big bag ready to put in the garage. DD2 made a veggie brunch which we ate in the garden then we both sat reading. DD1 still feels rough. DD2 and i both feel ok but we are incredibly tired so not sure if we have a mild dose.
Gratitudes - neighbour for mowing the lawn, friend ringing up to check how we are, both DDs for being cheerful

Thank you @apple_muncher & @foxholes. (We don't have moles in Orkney either!) We've had s lovely day, we went on a walk that hubby had never done before. You start off at a beach, then follow a track at the back of the adjacent carpark. It takes you through trees, fields of sheep & alongside water, before coming out on to a busy road near the whiskey dustillery. We then went to a plant sale & bought two plants with money we received as a present. The man selling them is a tutor at the local college, my son has had some lessons with him & he's offered him a summer job cutting grass. My son is chuffed!
Renewed car insurance this morning, saved £40 + £40 cashback on top of that.
Grateful for a sunny day, being married 23 years, son getting a job, finishing another sleeve on my son's jumperUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

@ldee2111 - you have picked a great time to cancel, with the Eur0s and the 0lympics coming up over summer, it is going to be wall to wall sports and silliness on terrestrial anyway so there will be sport all over the place.@Deni_debt-free_dreamer - do you have test kist at home? Would be interesting to see if it picked up anything - I am not quite convinced at the effectiveness of the home tests - I am still doing them - but really not sure how sensitive they actually are.Just about to do the school run and go volunteering, but really don't fancy it today - which is odd and not like me at all.Happy Monday Folks!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
