Frosted film on neighbour's window

I live in a converted flat on the first floor, with a section of the house garden for private use. The house is an end-of-terrace, with a L-shaped garden.
Our section of the garden is basically on the side of the house (the long side of the L), where our neighbour's window is.
It's a long story, but basically the house was converted more than 10 years ago by the previous owners and then they applied to the council for the planning permission retrospectively, which was granted.
Now, the issue I've got is that my neighbours are getting more and more crazy (if you want to know the full story, I've got a thread or two on this). My question is, do I have the right to apply frosted film on their window? It won't affect the light they will get, but it will give us a bit of privacy.
PS. Unfortunately "talk to your neighbours" is no longer an option.

They are not your windows so no. How would you feel if somebody just put some on your windows of their own accord? I know I'd be really angry. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
No, you can't go around putting film on other people's windows.0

Thanks. In other words, do I have any right of privacy? Is there anything that I could do to stop my neighbours spying on us and taking pictures?0

Can you grow a bush in your garden in front of their window? Or put a fence panel there? Or maybe put up a trellis say half a metre in front of the window and grow a plant up it?12

i bought this to put on a fence with huge gaps, you could use a cheaper trellis and attach it while you wait for plants to grow https://www.amazon.co.uk/Artificial-Hedge-Screening-Cover-Garden/dp/B00LKPTQHM?pd_rd_w=NTSiD&pf_rd_p=907ba819-1a37-4335-8b84-d82a78945ade&pf_rd_r=WQJPJTZMMPA4TDQB3E1D&pd_rd_r=f67c10a7-a60f-4945-9e47-ee6670730f2c&pd_rd_wg=ndYAP&pd_rd_i=B00LKPTQHM&psc=1&ref_=pd_bap_d_rp_1_i1 -

They will get bored.May look at your threads after a drink ;-) but problem neighbours are mostly becuase you let them be, If not otherwise move (I should not have to and any other stubbornness is irrelivent).Main point to take away is stop caring. There is no right to privacy in your garden and I assume in the house you have blinds or curtains. It is of course also equally likely you may be the problem neighbour and they are fretting over your actions which cause you this problem.7

There was a similar thread like this recently where a neighbours extension window overlooked a garden from a boundary wall. As the OP was unable to get them to agree to install frosting on the window, the OP had a fence panel installed in their garden blocking the window - they posted a photo, but I can't find it (so many threads with "fence", "neighbour" and "window" in them! An alternative would be to grow something in front of the window - bamboo would grow fast, and nice and high. I doubt you can touch the window itself.

But yes, I do get your point. I don't mind their window (at least I didn't when we bough the flat), but having them spying behind the curtains and taking pictures is not fun.1
