I've learned that listing items on the bay with free postage is not the best idea. If someone wants to return something you have to refund the full amount, so whatever was paid for postage is lost. So I have just been through all my itmes and changed all that were free postage.
I donated blood successfully! My iron was ok, they had trouble finding a vein and then the flow was really slow, but we got there in the end. I was seriously considering not going back if it didn't work again, it would've been the fourth consecutive time.
I'm very tempted by a Fitbit Charge 4, I looked it up on Amazon yesterday but it wasn't on offer. Found a new one on the bay for a very good price, I am watching it and might buy it when my Garmin sells. Now that I've started running again I would like a GPS watch and I quite like the Fitbit Charge 2 I inherited from Mr when he upgraded. It's much smaller than the chunky Garmin I'm selling but doesn't have GPS and the side button is not working. I might budget to get one for my birthday in August, it's not a priority at all.
Still pondering on the Oddbox, if I subscribe I will have to cook more and I'm not sure I can to commit to that01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

Well done on squeezing the blood out 😂 I used to donate but a blood and platelet transfusion when I had 16yo put a stop to it. I'm sure my blood must be all mine now but they won't have me 😥Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again1

I'm a "slow" donor too. They usually give me a squeezy toy thing to play with to encourage it. My favourite bit is the text afterwards that tells me where my blood has gone.2

I didn't get a squeezy toy and I was told not to squeeze too hard otherwise the needle might slip out
I've done my numbers today, I like to do it before payday (Monday) just in case I need to spend anything on CC at the end of the month. It didn't happen in the last few months but this month I have used a CC to pay for part of the auction lot. That is now covered with what I've sold so far but my EF is basically gone. Compared to this time last month my debt is 1166.02 down so not a bad month overall, I just need to rebuild the EF.

Redeemed another £10 with Lifepoints 🤑 not sure when they'll hit my account, still waiting for the rewards redeemed on Monday.
I am surprised how quickly points add up, I'm only doing them during short breaks, when I come back from school in the morning or go to pick up and sometimes in the evening. Tonight I had loads of surveys available when I logged in so did 3 to get enough for a voucher. Prolific was quiet this week but I have some old studies pending that will take me over £5 when approved.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

HMRC owes me £28, tax overpayment for last year, so I have sent £30 to the loan. Curious to see on Monday how much interest that saves me. At the beginning of the month I made a £212 overpayment and that saved me the grand sum of 15p 🥴
Happy it's finally Friday, work has been incredibly busy and I am exhausted. Was going to relax in the hammock but the dog wouldn't stop barking at everything that moved so I took him out for a long walk, did around 5k steps in 50 minutes. The boys didn't want to come and I didn't insist, it was lovely to have some quiet time for myself.
Amazon prime was supposed to renew last Sunday, the bank refused the payment thinking it was fraudulent. I contacted amazon support on Monday morning to try again, they said it was sorted but I'm still waiting for the money to go out. The membership has been renewed, I have checked my account and it's active until next year. I might transfer the fee amount in the EF to keep it safe, I'm not going to ask them to take my money for a second time 😅01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

My Garmin sold on the bay but I decided not to buy a new fitbit for now, I'll fund the EF instead. Sold a couple of Mr's tshirts on Vinted, he finally decided to size up and let go of the ones that didn't fit anymore. And I sold Boy2's old clothes that I sorted last weekend, put them on FB yesterday and they're gone already.
It's payday tomorrow, looking forward to the half hour high when I pay everything and fund the pots then try not to wish the time away until next payday.
I managed to run 4 days and do yoga 2 times this week, I'm feeling good about myself, I'll go have a seat in the smug zone 😅. But then today I ate too much and didn't move enough, it's a pattern on Sundays. We did go out before it started rainig and I hit my 10k steps goal, but been lazy overall, won't reach 2k calories used by midnight.
My mum sent us some money for Boy2's birthday and our wedding anniversary next month, we spent some on a lovely lunch at a nearby pub yesterday. It has a nice play area and both boys are now old enough to not need constant supervision. I was looking at other parents following their little ones around and felt really sorry for them 🤣01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0
