@Naomim I try to get dressed but sometimes during the cold winter months I keep my pj top on under my coat :hushed:
Running is the one form of exercise I enjoy but I haven't managed to do it regularly in a long time. The last time I did it was before DS2 was born. We were still living in London and I used to drop off DS1 at a nursery near Tower bridge then run to Westminster Bridge where my office was

I wish I could run, I have shin splints so even after walking around all day at a theme park yesterday,  my shins are killing me. 😥  lovely to have been able to run by the river.  My office is by London Bridge,  used to love taking my packed lunch down there or walk along to the Tower of London.  I did find this place hidden too.

I used to live in London and the HT and I usually do a couple of trips a year but haven't been since covid started.... The church is St Dunstan I think? I remember the delight in finding it when we wondered through a little cut through and found it by accident.

I love the BBC Good Food website, there are so many filters you can apply to their recipes. I found a nice collection of iron rich dishes, I started today with a dinner based on this salad topped with halloumi, courgette and sweet potato left from the bbq the other day.

Tomorrow I will make this curry, I have some tomatoes and spinach that needs using asap. There's some quinoa left so I won't need any rice.

    NSD today!

What a beautiful place. Hidden gems are the best places, even better when not many people know about them 🙂

My morning exercise stopped on Monday
On Tuesday I did a mistery shopping task before work and after this one I had enough ££ to withdraw to my bank account. I was going to send all of it to my loan but then the other day our hammock collapsed while MrJKN tried to get out of it and I decided to use it for a new one. Just the fabric bit, it was 5 years old so not completely unexpected but it might have lasted longer if we didn't leave it out all year long.

Any spare time I had in the last couple of days I spent sewing as I really needed to finish a dress. But I couldn't start sewing this dress until I finished the other one I had going since March :flushed:
Dress 2 is now almost finished, I need to sew the buttons on. Dress 1 still needs hemming - I didn't have matching thread when I started it, all the shops were closed so I just used something close enough but that wouldn't have worked for the hem. I bought the thread now, let's see how long it takes me to actually do it. It doesn't help that my sewing area is packed with boxes - still have loads left from the auction but I have already recovered 34% of what I spent. Who knows how long until I see some profit, some things I'll only try and sell closer to winter.

Today I would have time for exercise before work but I already had a shower, so my excuse is I'm saving water and electricity by not having another one later. I'll sew the buttons on instead.

I'm thinking of starting an Oddbox subscription for fruit and veg. It would come out of my weekly budget and it might force me to cook more and also use a larger variety of veg.

I hope you all have a great no/low spending day!
