Best buy on a green sticker item in Lidl was £2 on a big beef joint. Priced about £14.

I’ve not seen Skips anywhere for ages so was delighted to see Aldi do a version called Melts.
They are delicious and only £1.09 for 10 bags.
Oh thanks, I haven't seen any for a few weeks either, been in a few shops looking for them, will try the Aldi ones, my trouble is when I buy them I can easily eat three packets in a row  :D  :o

I've noticed that there are a lot more yellow sticker items in Lidl, which is good.  There used to be a small section for them, now they are with the general meat.  (although probably more pinky/purpley than yellow!)
Noticed more 20p bread/bakery items in past month. Always take something or two from there.

Orange labels are a third off with next days date and are found in their normal place. The green 20p/70p/£1.20/£1.50/£2 stickers items are with that days date and are found in green troughs in the fresh and meat sections
I bought Lidl's Deluxe coffee and walnut cake on Sunday with an orange sticker - exp 03/03. This is my favourite type of cake but I'm sure there are superior versions out there, any suggestions?

But only 70 cals a bag, eating 3 bags is still not that bad.

M&S then. They’re the only half decent cakes available in supermarkets. Even Waitrose aren’t much good.

Waitrose No1 are pretty good, especially the Chocolate Indulgence.  I wouldn't buy their standard range.  But unfortunately, they only do coffee & caramel, not coffee & walnut.

I like both Lidl and Tescos.

I agree about home made - a chap at work makes a complete to die for one but I haven't managed to convince him to make me one despite repeated asking.  In the past when we had bake sales he would make a huge one and there would be a queue forming as things were being set up and people were limited to one slice only to be fair.

At twice the price I shall stick with Lidl I think!
