Lidl's Deluxe veggie pizza is disappointing. It needs pimping up with a lot more veggies! No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I'm so HAPPY!!!
spotted that Lidl was doing one of it's American fests which started Thursday 3rd. Usually anything special seems to get sold out pretty pronto but I managed to get to the store on time!!!
So there are boxes of frozen chicken wings (about 8 each of 2 types) plus onion rings for £2.99. Bought 2 as I love my wings!! And also breaded mozzarella sticks. I decided against the pancakes and honey streaky bacon (supposedly I'm on a diet) but did snap up a pack of Monterey jack cheese slices - they were excellent the last time I had them.
But most importantly they had big bags of white cheddar popcorn!! 79p!!! Now in all honesty I'd say it's not quite up to the same standard of the PC Smart corn I buy in Canada but then again when one factors in the cost of the flights and the fact it's a 12 - 14 hours trip door to door going to the local Lidl here is a much better value.

Would like Lidl to continue to sell their vegan savoury spreads throughout the year. A vegan colleague thinks they are fab. As spreads them on savoury biscuits, adds a couple of spoons into homemade houmous, mixes them with chopped cucumber, tomatoes etc as a couscous topping etc.1
