Good and Bad Buys at Lidl and Aldi stores (***Please don't expire***)

I'm sure they have in the past - but I did notice their ads stated Scotland only so might have changed this year. But all the stores have them so I would expect Lidl and Aldi to as well.briskbeats said:Lidl - does anyone know if England’s stores have the Burns Night food? Such as the XL haggis.

Lidl’s pick of the week F&V is different for Scotland to E&W. On the app it does say E/W only for items like mango and blueberries. S only are items like parsnips and swede.Brie said:

Lidl has introduced 2 new Milbona Greek yoghurt flavours: lemon, and salted caramel (85p/450g). I'm a fan of lemon flavour, so that is what I chose to try - mistake. It tastes ok, but it feels "set", watery and gelatine-y (although it is not). The Greek style in coconut or honey are superior products and cheaper at just 75p/450g.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Fortunately blueberries are included in the pick of the week in Scotland, no mango though. Parsnips, swede & maris piper potatoes instead of asparagus spears, tangerines & mango appear to be the differences. I'd prefer the English alternatives! But while there's extra Burns night food like the XXL Haggis, Steak & Haggis pies, haggis/black pudding party bites, pork & haggis sausages etc, north of the border misses out on the 'Big Clean Event' offers.1 -
Does anyone else's Lidl have little loo roll or kitchen roll? It feels like I have been transported back to Match 2020 when I see this aisle.1

I was in Lidl a few days ago wasn’t looking for kitchen or loo rolls but noticed very little pasta.briskbeats said:Does anyone else's Lidl have little loo roll or kitchen roll? It feels like I have been transported back to Match 2020 when I see this aisle.0 -
Limited Loo Roll and no Kitchen Roll in mine - probably just supply issues as that's one area that often runs short. Bulky and cheap isn't a good combination for prioritising on deliveries if they are down on driver numbers.briskbeats said:Does anyone else's Lidl have little loo roll or kitchen roll? I have noticed that if Lidl let shelves empty of something that's not usually been affected by the supply issues the price goes up when the next batch is delivered. Or in some cases removed and replaced by a premium brand when I assume Lidl can't agree a new price with the supplier.3 -
I have developed a sudden fondness for fig rolls. Tesco price match Aldi here and are surprisingly my preference of the two.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

The Essentials Lemonade which is lovely in Aldi has risen in price to 20p, the first time the price has changed from 17p in what must be a decade of me shopping there.
Anyone else noticed price creep?3
