Like the false claims that measles deaths are being caused by malnutrition. Rather than immunisation refusals. Tragic.Brie said:

Lidl have expanded their already excellent frozen High Protein Ready Meal range.
Included in the new options is Chipotle Pulled Pork with Black Bean Rice. It's very nice, with a decent serving of pork. Medium hot, I'd say. £1.793 -

As long as the price isn't inflated, I don't mind - and this range doesn't have an inflated price. In most of the varieties it's a case of adding some veg to the rice, and controlling the overall amount of fat, which both seem like a good idea.tastyhog said:

I buy the Lidl high protein sandwich thins. It's not just a buzzword in this case. The high protein thins have 7.8g of protein compared with the brown ones with 4.2g and just 3.3g in the white ones. . Unfortunately, they seem to have been discontinued in Aldi. ☹️3

I have always really enjoyed the Lidl flammkuchen - tissue thin pastry with a light covering of cheesy topping with thinly sliced onions and bacon. Unfortunately what I picked up recently instead was some sort of pizza with a tartiflette topping. If you see it run away!!! Now I like tartiflette but not on pizza. In fact neither of us liked this and despite being hungry we didn't finish it and it got chucked in the bin.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Aldi has high protein giant crumpets, which I was enticed to try by the 75% off sticker. They taste weird - and had a very powdery quality - and I wouldn't have them again even of the store was giving them away toasted and slathered in butter.maman said:I buy the Lidl high protein sandwich thins.
