Aldi caramel Choceur is a nice product, not too sicky. Looks like it has been voted Product of The Year in Oz:

If you use the self scan checkouts the discount is not taken off automatically.
You have to summon a member of staff to manually take off the discount on each stickered product.Someone please tell me what money is2 -
Had a bit of luck at Lidl....picked up a nice chonky SA white wine but couldn't find any price label. So I thought if it turned out to be one of their extra special ones at £13 I'd say no but if it was £7-8 that was fine. 13.5% alchohol content so it wasn't going to be a cheap one. Got to the till and when scanned nothing came up. So someone was called to look for the price and I thus help up the queue for a good 5 minutes. Chap finally came over with something that had a black label and a black cap same as my bottle and said "they've obviously changed the packaging so just scan this." And "this" was £3.49. So half the price I was expecting. I might have said something but only discovered this when I checked the receipt.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. The full price is displayed first and only when you place the item "in the bagging area" does the discount appear on screen. What appears on-screen and on the receipt is the full price and then the discount.
[I remember the first time I was self-scanning a reduction. I held onto the product and called an assistant only to find the reduction appeared when she placed the item in the bagging area.]3
