Good and Bad Buys at Lidl and Aldi stores (***Please don't expire***)

Lidl J.D. Gross Chocolate Sea Shells - they are delicious and very similar to the original (Guylian).
I had a £1 off voucher, which would have made them a very reasonable £1.79. (But the price labelling gremlins intervened and I ended up getting them further reduced for my trouble).4 -
Ooh we've just finished a box of those, given to us by my MIL. And they were delicious.Cornucopia said:Lidl J.D. Gross Chocolate Sea Shells - they are delicious and very similar to the original (Guylian).2 -
Coming soon... Iberia Week at Lidl. No olive oil offers but plenty of deli stuff.1

Funny you should say this, but I had one four just yesterday after years! This was whilst visiting a friend, were they on a good offer at Lidl recently?northwalesd said:

Yes - they had a particularly generous £1 off voucher on the App. It was one of the four vouchers on the weekly email.Rosa_Damascena said:

The 70% cocoa (5x25g) packs of Moser Roth chocolate have disappeared from local Aldi stores. ☹️ Is this national? 🤔0

70% chocolate is not to my palate. I bought a bar from Lidl some time ago, and opened it last weekend out of desperation - not for me. It does however make a good hot chocolate - just a small amount in skimmed milk heated in the microwave does the job.maman said:The 70% cocoa (5x25g) packs of Moser Roth chocolate have disappeared from local Aldi stores. ☹️ Is this national? 🤔No man is worth crawling on this earth.

No @Rosa_Damascena, it's not for everyone. In my local Aldi stores all the 'luxury' dark chocolate has disappeared though like the orange and salted caramel as well.
I just like an occasional taste but DH loves it. He's having to make do with Lidl instead but as they're not in individual 25g bars there's the temptation of eating more. 🤔🤣2 -
None in our store. Since the spirits moved to the front of the store the amount of stock is small.Rosa_Damascena said:Aldi's Ballycastle is on offer at £2.99 this weekend. Typically, the shelves were bare when I visited late on Thursday evening...0 -
The pretty / high margin spirits are on the gondola end near till 1. Did you ever look in the rear RHS of the store (other end of the same aisle)? The spirits lurk in the corner.robrymond said:
