Warning, this product from Lidl is potent:

Says medium so I thought they would be tolerable before passing them onto Mum. Her verdict:"they are like a bomb" and she has to use them sparingly.

I am tempted to buy more and scatter them liberally over my lawn after its first cut of the year.

Rosa why would you scatter them over your lawn...? (Is it a squirrel deterrent? Please say it's a squirrel deterrent that actually works...)
I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.

Bristol colleague lamenting a lack of cornucopia boxes - is this a local blip or a national policy, & how best to find out?

Blimey I am glad not be an urban fox in RD’s area…

I buy chillies - sometimes red, sometimes green, sometimes mixed - from Aldi & Tesco (Lidl is not convenient for me) and find they vary in heat.
Unfortunately for people who don't like them too hot, you never know how strong they are.

And of course, it also depends on palate.
'like a bomb' for someone may be pleasantly spicy' for someone else.

So buying them to scatter on a lawn - presumably as a deterrent - probably won't work.

You got it! They have worked well in the past.

@PLRFD - Mum can tolerate chillies - uses Serranos all the time - so am wondering if this was a particularly punchy sample?  :#

From 14/03 it's Japanese Week at Lidl. Nothing of interest for us, there. But Birchwood 8 NZ lamb chops 680g 7.99 sounds good.

... re. chillies ... I have tried chilli powder painted onto my squirrel bird feeders with sunflower oil so that squirrels hanging upside down get covered, and they love it ... so I was right first time ... hehe.

successfully used the Lidl app without my phone.  just gave the person at the till my phone number instead.  and resisted the temptation of buying things I didn't need just to get 10% off.
