Alternative to Lidl or Aldi - we have a BBD warehouse place near us called Rogers (there's several locations in the south).  Tins, bottles and packets for the most part.  Some are past their BBD (but still safe to consume) and others are still several months off from this.  Everything is normally sold in quantity (so 6 tins of X for £Z) rather than individually.  But that might suit a lot of people.
Thanks for that @Brie. I'd never heard of Rogers but it seems we have one locally. I'll check them out. 😊

Aldi Lacura Spa bath foam and shower gel.   ❤️.  (The orange coloured ones)

Smells just like branded Sanctuary Spa.

How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

I'm a fan of the shower gel too. It's only recently returned to my local Aldi so I stocked up in case it disappears again.

I think they've got their boxes mixed up!

That looks like a standard pork pie with a few cranberrys on.   Do they sell those too?

Just bought & cut into an Aldi Cranberry Topped Layered Pie.
    Yuk
Layers of pork meat, chicken meat & stuffing ??
    Oh no it is not.
The pie is filled with a tasteless mush.
Contacted Aldi by telephone & purchase price refunded immediately.
First complaint to Aldi in 20 years.

And this is what their brochure picture was.

    just a slight difference then!!

glad your complaint got a result.

  • I used Lidl's marzipan for the first time on my Christmas cake this year - it's very disappointing, not moist enough and not very tasty. :/

Shuffling off to Lidl today to return a set of Christmas lights we bought.  Unfortunately no receipt which might be a challenge.  But I'm not wanting to return them as I don't like them (they look lovely) but that they are missing a part which is the switch to turn them on!!  So effectively useless.

Do you use the Lidl Plus app? The receipt may be on there.
