Don't you get bored? I can understand 80% core allows you to plan but a bit of leeway could bring some pleasant surprises. That is what the YS aisle is for, which is actually far better at the big supermarkets than Aldi and Lidl.

I think all my meat and fish purchases are orange sticker these days - or from the freezer section. The Lidl free range whole chicken were £4.69 a kilo on the last shop.p00hsticks said:

The beans were very intermittent then came back in different packaging and different weight.MDMD said:Have Lidl discontinued their Bellarom ground espresso coffee? 250g in a dark brown packet. All I can find is the “gold” one which seems to get bad reviews and is 500g.

I was just going to make the point that I don't think you ever get coupons off at Aldi- well, I have never had any!
Even if you have the down graded app I assume you get a 'little something' off at Lidl.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

I also find TGTG bags from supermarkets tend to be pretty good value. For £3 r so it's worth a punt, anything I don't want goes straight on Olio.p00hsticks said:

I think they both have had coupons in papers from time to time. Maybe Lidl less often now due to their app?Katiehound said:I was just going to make the point that I don't think you ever get coupons off at Aldi- well, I have never had any!
