    Thanks. I see how it works now.
    The unit in the cupboard (pic) is a condensate pump and the other two handlers connect to it.
    A single drain pipe goes up through the ceiling and out/down the gable wall.
    The handler in question just has the drain pipe going out horizontally along the wall. 
    Maybe it needs more fall on it.
