Instead of wasting time reading such letters, please instead come back here regularly this Summer, ready to spend an hour being heard to Government by completing the upcoming Final Technical Consultation about regulating the levels of parking charges from next year.

    Coming soon...

...please check back on the forum each week as we need real people like you to counterbalance the spamming of the Consultation by the industry and people purporting to be ‘landowners’.

What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?
    19 NOV 2021

With a Claim Issue Date of 19th November, you have until Wednesday 8th December to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an AoS in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 22nd December 2021 to file your Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.
  • Thanks for the help, I have just filed the AoS

Check for the email auto receipt from the CCBC acknowledging receipt of the defence

Then keep checking your MCOL claim history to ensure it is logged , keep checking MCOL claim history for when they post an N180 DQ to you too

Keep following the 12 numbered steps in the defence template post by coupon mad too

"I have just filed the defence via email thanks again for all your help with this"

    A previous post:-

"Will do, my Partner owns the car and was not driving at the time (luckily) and the parking company will be persuing her.  I think this might be an advantage for us? "

As a matter of interest did your partner use the template Defence? - can the paras no.2 and 3 be posted as the Defence filed well be referred to if Witness Statement required.
