I am not 100% sure myself.  The WS says the PCN was sent in according to POFA and the defence is being pursued as the registered keeper.

I am not 100% sure myself.  The WS says the PCN was sent in according to POFA and the defence is being pursued as the registered keeper.
The question is... did the Claimant supply a Notice to Keeper that complied with POFA sufficiently to allow the driver's responsibility to be transferred to the keeper?

Back in June last year - eleven months ago - it was suggested on this thread that you need to work that out and how you might do so.

    You didn't respond to that.
Not even saying 'I don't know. Can anyone help me work it out?'

Unfortunately things never went our way.  The judge knocked off £60.  But I think the total have to pay is £213.

TBH our WS was rushed and my partner did not really understand it, and TBH I get a bit lost with all the technical jargon.

At least Bwlegal/PPS had to pay somebody to attend etc. You win some and lose some I guess :-(

Sadly it does happen if the Judge thinks the signs were clear enough and if the D can't explain any non-POFA issue or other compelling winning argument. Good that he disallowed the fake £60 costs, as any Judge should.

Sorry to hear that but at lease you are paying LESS than the claim and cost them MORE than that sum!

Pay it in full immediately to avoid a CCJ.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
