HB.. I'm delighted you have found a way that works for you, I just wish something, anything, could work for me! I am just jealous of all your space! We are supposed to be borrowing a large transit so we can get the big stuff away to the tip which I am hoping will free up a bit of room for me to move things so I can get a better look at what we have and sort more to go. I need to sort the school uniform cupboard and the shoes. That would mean I can put away the items which fit. It will clear room in the shed so the second freezer I usually keep out there can go back out and not be in the kitchen. I am thinking of swapping the new big table for the slightly smaller one in the kitchen, the smaller one can then go in the back room, or I may simply set it free and rejoice the room, if we have need of another one we have an old Ikea one behind the drawers on the landing, it has been there for 11 years..
I have a car load of niknaks to donate once I can find somewhere accepting stuff; pictures, embroidery hoops, aida, fabric etc. There was a yard sale day in my area a few weeks ago but there was no one taking part on my street so it would have been pointless... it was a nice day and I rather wish I had got my sister involved and shifted some stuff with her.. next time we will do this.. She is very good with the people, I am not. I am good at working out change fast, she is not. It would be nice to spend some time with her.
I have many plans, unfortunately my body says no a lot of the time. Today has been very much a nope day.
Tomorrow I need to do some shelf maths.. work out where the shelves can go on the landing and measure up and price up what we would need. I am reluctant to spend anything at all so salvage is my option.. I am a cheeky mare and not averse to asking for freebies which are destined for the bin otherwise. I really need to sort something out for the kitchen tap too.. I am still short on the one I need.. I will get there!
I really hope my hip is feeling better tomorrow, I might not be able to get dressed.. or undressed for bed.. eek.. I wanted to decorate DS2's room this weekend.. this might be fun. I have decided I want to paint his black bed too.. it is too dark for the tiny room, but we shall see.. I probably won't.
I have parcels to post, stuff to list, 1 box will be sorted from the hallway unit. I can do one box and it will make a difference, you never know I may get excited and do a second! 6 of the 8 need sorting, the remaining 2 contain pack up stuff for the girls.
*plumps cushions for WAC and puts fresh cake in the tin, chocolate orange marble cake with ganache.*
Love and hugs.. and we will see what tomorrow brings us all!

Another WAC member reporting in - just missed you, Valli. All very nice in here. Kettle still has enough hot water for another cuppa if anyone wants to help themselves. Thanks for the cake, pigpen. I couldn't resist a little taste, even at this time of night: it has taken away the yucky aftertaste of strong painkillers. Two days ago my knees stopped hurting and I enjoyed a couple of hours of freedom of movement, but then I reached up to a high shelf and put my back out - doh! Not a happy bunny! I'm sitting here with my cuppa warming my inside and a bag of frozen peas to numb the painful area : hopefully I shall get another hour or two of sleep once the stabbing has subsided.
My flying today will of necessity be restricted to desk work and filing, plus a short walk with Rosie. I have to attend an AGM on Z00m this evening, so that will encourage me to clear the papers that are currently strewn over the spare bed and visible in the background when I'm on camera! And I need to finish typing up some notes on a meeting with my boss and send them to him. Tomorrow will be another Z00m day, 9.30-3.30 but with plenty of breaks. Sorry Natty - all my good intentions to achieve at least Level 1 each day this week have flown out of the window(but at least I've had the windows open between hail showers!)

Morning xx
I was in and out of the WAC through the night. And heard someone call my name at around 6.30 which had me peering out to see if there was someone at the front door. Nope. Must have dreamed it.
Papa Round snapped at Barbara yesterday. She rage hoovered the stairs and then went for a walk when I arrived to Dad-sit.
Talking of hoovering- I now have enough floor in my bedroom to be able to hoover in there today. That's the plan....and I'm thinking I'll hoover DS's room (which is devoid of furniture) and the landing while the hoover is upstairs.
Little by little I'm moving forward 🙂. You are all inspirational. Thank you.

I cannot stand, twist, turn or get dressed today.. guess I need to have OH put EVERYTHING in the world on my bed so I can get to the drawer with my dresses in because there is way I can manage trousers today.
I need a shower before I do anything.
OH got me a box down so I can list 25 ebeasty items.
I have 1 to package and then will have 2 to post.
Bills are paid to date but I have a phone bill coming out Monday which DD3 will pay for.. she gives me money for her cats food and her phone bill every month so that covers the phonebill this month (It is for 5 phones, I pay for 2 at the moment)
WM's need to go on but I will need help there too.
What does one do with wallpaper you no longer have or will be fully replacing next time you decorate?? I have a couple of full rolls and matching part rolls.. for various papers..
Cheap dinner sets... any idea where to get them? I need 2 the same but everything, I am down to 3 bowls, 5 dinner plates and 1 sandwich plate.. the rest are all plastic child plates. I've seen 1 for £23 for 4 settings without mugs which I love but I'm thinking it might be a bit much.. am I being tight?? I haven't bought a dinner set since 1993 so I don't know how much is usual. I can then have a cupboard cull and get rid of some mugs so my 'mug container' fits them in better!! I am having a plastic plate cull and getting some 'disposable' party plates for birthdays.. they can be washed and live in my party box and not hog cupboard space then. I have so many baby bowls and plates we no longer use they may as well go to someone who can use them. I will keep a couple of bits for grandbeasties but the rest can be released. It will have to wait until I can climb on a chair though.
I need some mammary containers too.. haha...
OH is going to the gym, via Moomin college at this rate.. He can put the stuff from the car back in the car.. it has been left on my sofa for 2 weeks now... *told*.
What else needs doing today???

Hello all. Bit of everything today, work, flying, dog walking, admin and procrastinating.
Hope you're all having a good one.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Pigpen that's pretty, I have a set from Studio that I got a few years ago. DS bought a plain white set from Asd@ recently and the dinner plates are tiny, so watch out for that. Clearly my portion sizes would not fit on some dinner plates!
Feeling quite calm here. Weights class done first thing followed by paid stuff, two loads of washing dried and put away, ironed a few bits, been to the library and got myself 3 books to read. Utility and kitchen floors hoovered and mopped, just having a brew then will continue with the hoover and see how far I get.
DS2 is coming home for a few days, cant wait to see him.
Oh and anyone got any ideas for my nieces birthday? I want to spend about £10 on something I can post, she is 13 and a bit of a tomboy. I havent a clue and would love to get her a surprise.10 -
Piggers, there are some here https://www.argos.co.uk/search/12-piece-dinner-set/?clickOrigin=searchbar:search:auto:dinner+se:12+piece+dinner+set I set it to 12 piece sets, as I am not sure of the total number of each you want. This lot from Dulem https://www.dunelm.com/search?f_attributes.productDescriptiveAttributes.Type=Dinner+Sets&f_hierarchicalCategories.lvl0=Home+and+Furniture&orderBy=price_asc&q=dinner+setsI have been rained off from the garden, but did manage to pot on about 70 plants, I can see a table out the front to sell off the excess at this rate.

YL... I had noticed how tiny newer dinner plates were.. I like my food separated on the plates and they are just too small.Kaz.. TY.. It is the bowl shape I have trouble with.. they are almost all those half sphere things.. I hate them, I like the shallower, soup bowl types rather than the ones that look like a dog bowl.. I never even thought of those places. I haven't properly explored yet, it takes me weeks to make a purchase like this which will be a part of my daily life for years and years. I usually look for ages then find something and know instantly. xxI'm quite particular about what my ice cream goes in, I need to lick the plate when I have vienetta! the ones I have were from Studio cards in 1992... I did get another set after these which had geese on but that went to the charity shop a long time ago. I will look some more later, I am in with the idea of getting rid of mugs so I don't want a set with mugs, I want them all to be the same otherwise I will start with 'my plate/your plate' thing and it gets extreme. I will keep looking because as much as I like the rainbow ones the bowls are wrong.
2 items on ebeast.
I got showered and dressed.
I emptied the DW and tasked the large offsprung with loading the DW and shovelling cat deposits.. I've not checked what has been done yet.
Fluffers fed.
It's doing the odd dribble of rain here so I am expecting a downpour shortly.
Dinner tonight.. I'm not sure yet.
I need to do a meat order still.. and a packup/food order.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9
