Mostly moist here too.. my plants outside will be very happy. I'm not I have a double duvet to dry!

I am considering hoofing DS2 out f his room to paint it.. but my leg still hurts.. it is half term in a couple of weeks maybe Ishould do it then .. no duobt OH will be at work the whole week so it will keep me occupied.

Asda has a dinner set I am looking at.. dirt cheap so I can buy an extra set and not care if it gets broken. That is sounding very sensible tbh given how often I pick the girls plates off the floor. Their portion size are too big to fit on their current plates now, esp Pixie who eats more than I do!

Flash of inspiration means I have texted a colleague to point him in the direction of transferring unused tax allowance www.gov.uk/marriage-allowance.  Piggers this could apply to you, too.  Or any Flyperson who is married and earns less than the personal tax allowance.  Claims can be backdated.

Valli, thank you, It isn't relevant for us because I don't work I applied twice but it is definitely worth applying for. you can apply online too which is much easier.

Girls fed, OH back from work meeting. Had 2 pretty rude offers on my sales.. they are too low to be merely cheeky they are downright rude!

I need to knit a baby blanket.. I'm thinking plain basket stitch with a bunny applique.. but I am so tired. My hip does not want me to sleep!

Lambrini anyone? Or maybe a lambrusco rosso? 🤣🤢 They must have been bought in the 90's!! 😳 I have also tipped away 3 bottles of vodka that had an inch or 2 in the bottom. We have 1 nearly full bottle left. 
Question  - does alcohol go off? Like port, whiskey, gin? Some of it is years old - possibly decades! It has been opened. There are a few bottles of wine as well...

Valli what do you think of Dana White? A lot of what she says makes sense. I am applying the container concept to the alcohol shelf - some definitely had to go!

GI - port does lose its taste, but you can sling it in the cooking! Whisky, no idea as I can’t stand the stuff. Gin - well, it wouldn’t get the chance to try going off here 🤣.
Everyone is annoying me today. I want to throw them out into the rain and lock the doors on them 😈. I have done HHI, draped the clean wet washing around, tidied up the “larder” - better described as cardboard boxes under the sideboard. My sourdough starter wasn’t actually dead, it was just snoozing and hungry, so I have now got a loaf on the go. I might do a bit more of the half finished dressmaking this afternoon, but not sure that I cba, especially as DH is intermittently banging round in the small room. I might see what Dana White has to say to inspire me instead.

It appears my GUAG has gone.. !!!!!!!!!! .. discappeared!!! ... into the ether...

OH is clearing my fridge.. DS1 left 3 curries in there.. the one OH just got smells like really bad armpit.. I was polite and said nothing, until Pixie said 'Daddy, that really stinks and it's bad' .. I added 'It really does, sorry'.. then Dot chimed in too.. poor OH has been banished to the other room with his lunch.

Plates.. oh I'm glad I saved my quids..  OH had a meeting for going back to work next week and came home with a box of 12+ blue stoneware plates.. now I just need bowls.. I can get rid of that pile of plastic plates, move that pile to the top for when we have gatherings and put the new-to-us ones on the shelf to be used. I still need bowls but I can just buy bowls, I don't need to replace everything all at once or right now and I think I can maybe put some mugs in the box in the shed. I have a stash for when people are in need.. it has a few glasses and some pans which don't work on the induction hob etc.. it has come in useful a few times when people have got a new house or left home or separated. It doesn't mater if my plates don't match the bowls don't match the sandwich plates.. I can live with that. I knew if I procrastinated long enough things would come together.

I am so tired, I have no idea what is going on with me today, I am rarely tired.. and I know come bedtime I will be wide awake!

Confirmation received that the house insurance will not renew has been received.

OH has done the DW, I've done nothing at all.. I am a rubbish human today.

Yesterday evening I went to a Z00m AGM and, due to reorganisation,  managed to escape from my elected role 2 years early
Today at 9.00 I joined a Z00m INSET day with the same group of people, but by 11.00 I was falling asleep in front of the screen - a very learned speaker, but without any PowerPoint or other visual aids, and his droning voice mesmerised me in my already drugged state (parrots to dull the back pain).  Then the Internet connection broke up (we have a rubbish service), so I took it as a sign that I should go back to bed - I slept for another 2 hours!  This afternoon I have pottered among the paperwork and will try to get back into the INSET for the final hour, as our senior person is retiring and I'd like to be there to say goodbye.
Rosie has been golden, spending most of the day asleep under the piano stool, as it has been tipping it down here.  We shall no doubt get very wet when I take her for her walk.  DH has gone off to the war games shop.

I think I already apply some of her 'rules' - Don't put it down - put it away' means put it where it lives which I think she does, also when I was looking for a piece of furniture for the hall I bought a small console table with one drawer deliberately - drawer is where keys live.  because I didn't want storage knowing I would fill it!

GI, the beeping did drive us to distraction although we both managed to sleep through it last night, me with a Radio 4 Extra in my ear, and Belovéd with a whisky or three inside him.  However, this morning when he cancelled tennis because it's soggy out there we decided we had to tackle it.  It took hours, but that section of the kitchen is now sorted, the fridge cleared out and completely cleaned and restocked, the freezer emptied, moved and reloaded, and quite a few things we're never going to eat binned or given to neighbours. 

Using Dana K White's system every time we came across something that should be elsewhere that's exactly where it was taken, if it needed washing up it was washed (and left to drain - neither of us is martyrs), and if it needed cleaning it was cleaned, with the result that when we finished reloading the freezer all we had to do was put the kettle on and find the chocolate biscuits.  While I made the tea Belovéd found the instructions for the monitor and replaced the batteries, shoved a pin in the wall and hung the thing up properly so it won't happen again.  The cats and dog all helped us, extracting their toys from under the freezer and everything's now back in place.  It looks so much better, it is so much more organised, and we meal planned for the next 10 days while I was sorting the drawers, and as he asked for them to be labelled I wrote Veg, Meat, and Fish on the fronts of them in black indelible pen (it comes off with meths when I want a change).  If I hadn't been using her method I'd have ended up with a big heap of stuff that needed deealing with after I'd finished the freezer which is the part that defeats me every time. 

You all need a good night's sleep and Time Out, which I doubt will be easy to find, Pigpen, Fayolle and Ionafan.  (((Hugs)))

I did the Foodbank paperwork yesterday that I would normally do on a Sundays so I'm really hoping I can take it a bit easier tomorrow.
