Morning All, still on nsd#11. Chatted with a friend after work today, haven't caught up for ages! Met another friend after tea for a walk across some moorland. Haven't seen each other for a long time too. Knew she'd had a lump removed from her thyroid, but didn't know it had been cancerous & she needed the rest of her thyroid removed. She didn't tell me earlier, as didn't want to add to things with my hubby being so ill.
Grateful for good friends, that friend is doing OK and managing to stay strong, and that hubby is continuing to do well.Use it up, wear it out

Another couple of NSDs so at 14 (I think). Still feeling pretty rubbish. I think a bit of a detox diet, change of some lifestyle things and a bit of a pamper might be needed.
Needless to say not a lot going on. House needs a really good clean but that can wait until I'm more in the mood. Just having a cup of lovely earl grey tea made from real loose tea which was given to me by a neighbour. It was in a hamper she won in a raffle. It's from a very well known posh store in a beautiful caddy and I have an afternoon tea one as well. I do love nice tea from a teapot in a china cup.
After that I'm going to have a nice long shower and spend the day reading my book which I started last night. Pure indulgence but I don't care.
Hope everyone is safe and well xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -
Morning all! I have been a busy turtle so far, all kids to school on time,no arguments at all this morning!dropped some broken unrepairable electronics to the recycling place at the tip, and 3 bags of old clothes to the recycling bin. Only books left to send to the c/shop so my hall looks very clean and tidy right now.Came home, painted the planters with waterproofy what-not paint. Looking good, was all in line for NSD12 but step-gran rang and wanted me to buy her something from the Big River Shop, so that has scuppered that one - she no longer even reimburses me, but it means she can live in her own home for another summer, and that is what she wants. Small price to pay for independence. It has eaten all my saved/won money off vouchers though.Laundry on the line, bright and sunny and exceptionally hot here when the cloud is not in front of it - much more sun than cloud.Loved Eur0visi0n part 1 last night. Fully on board with Ukraine. Her furry arms did make me think of sloths though. All food in the house for today and tomorrow, books to read, sewing Bee on tv tonight, nobody to please but myself (well, I could please DH, but not sure I cba
) So all in all I am rockin' the day so far.
Just printed off £6.50 of free Mr T's coupons - going to spend them all on utterly frivolous free tubs of ice cream for the weekend.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Well I just broke the bank and have booked a 5 day holiday in Pembrokeshire a couple of away days for the young ones - now I just hope that the host will have us. Family keeps the pressure on to visit other country, but it's orang and I just dont know if I want to be in selfisolation - I just don't think so. So it is off for now.
So now back to beans on toast :-) Untill July.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Afternoon turtles,
No NSD here as had the shopping delivered, used £8.50 worth of vouchers which came in helpful. Also had my hair cut finally! I actually hate the small talk and the awkwardness at the hairdressers but I desperately needed it cut.
No work today as still on leave, so had a nice swim first thing this morning and have been chilling watching reruns of GoT in between putting washing out and doing a few jobs around the house. Also attended an arthritis support group which I found really helpful.4 -
Wrote a long post and then it said I didn't have permission to post it. Have logged in (it was letting me do thanks) so here is the condensed version. Some tidying this morning, some helping mum or getting instructions on things she wants me to do. Didn't find the missing set of keys but no problem as the bunch I found when emptying the boiler cupboard has 3 of the missing key and a meter cupboard key.
Went to town this afternoon. Dropped off cs bags (not much left to go now), picked up food, got cash for mum but was too late to make a deposit at my bank. At my house I've tackled the buddleia, the ivy and the self seeded pathside plants and filled the green bin. more ivy cut outside but just left where it fell. Did a bin audit (DS3 did not put the blue bin out yesterday for collection this morning). One large badly folded box was taking up a large space so gave it to DS3 to rip or sqush so it went flat then sent him off round the house to collect paper and card.
Discussed the empty brown and black bins. DS3 waits until the day before collection to start gathering stuff - so they have a house you can't walk round in and 4 empty wheelie bins worth of space? (eek blue hair emoji). No energy to get to Tessimo's to spend my vouchers so called in at the corner shop on my way to the taxi office. Spent too much on stuff I shouldn't have (but resisted kebab cravings - not had a kebab for about 4 years).
Grateful for making progress, DS3 doing stuff without complaining, neighbours being pleasant and chatty (they have moods). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage4 -
Today I am grateful for a frank and honest talk with dep head at work, for getting admin done, for enjoying my lunchtime duty, for dd being on top of her hwk, for simple food for tea.

Hi
Another NSD achievedWoke up ridiculously early & couldn't get back to sleep so logged into work at 6.30am. Sat in the garden in the sunshine at lunch. Did exercise class via Fb this eve - that's 2 classes this week! Jeans are very tight so need to get moving more and eating substantially less.
Ex came round this eve to take some of his stuff from the loft - he moved out 13 years ago! But i was glad to get some decluttering done and he brought down some of my carp so i have sorted a bag for charity and binned a load of stuff and my tip pile has increased a bit more.
Gratitudes - sunshine; making progress with a couple of frogs at work; good exercise class

Wednesday- I've not logged in for a few days but I'm on 11 NSDs, today I did a food shop so shouldn't need anything for the next couple of days.
I have to start working out how to have a "totally outside no matter what the weather is and it has to not cost very much" birthday party for DD. Last year it was just the 2 of us in lockdown for her birthday so I'm keen to have a "biggish" celebration this year.
Grateful today- for the treatment on my ponies sore leg working (so far) and being able to ride him again today, for friends giving generously of time, equipment and expertise, for another friend organising/facilitating an experience for DD.7 -
A spend day yesterday. Had my hair cut after work, then bought a few pampering things & a candle to go with a book for friend recovering from op. Dropped it off on my way home, she was delighted!
Dropped black bag off for CS. Unpicked two coat zips, ready for replacing tonight.Use it up, wear it out
