Well spent the morning in the garden, it was warm and sunny and I was thinning out the apple tree and the oak tree was reaching out a bit close - so there is now a slight gap - lets see who gets there first, and fills the gap. I planted a echinacea as I grew it from a 'seed' and I bought 6 but only one have survived and now that one looks like it is dying, something is eating the roots. I am not happy.
Question - how do you feed the plants when they are already drenched - and it's supposed to be raining all week?
So here is my list:
Do a 60 min writing meditation(my ongoing project - identifying themes I am interested in) -
Walk dog - again -
Plan food for next week -
Delete emails -
Glass recycling -
Cook dinner - again -
Gardening (a bit wet for now) - done
Book indoor and outdoor swim -
Yoga/strength/stretch -
Book holiday in July (my bank had a meltdown and nothing working)-
Work on CV/job things and plan (the rest of) my life -
Find and join local art/textile/conceptual art group and a writing group -
Catch up on work things -
(Oh forgot: driving instructor - take ds2 out for a spin, as his test is this week - fingers crossed) - well I booked the insurance and then he fell asleep the poor thing! - This is now cancelled for today as well as ds went out on a bit of a jolly last night!
Have managed 7 NSD so far, not great but at least I haven't gone grocery shopping since Tuesday and I think were good til Tuesday.
Grateful for it finally being warmer - have turned heating off.
To have the house to myself this afternoon and looking forwards to an other yoga and run later. Have been scatter reading, and hope everybody is ready for an other week of amazing spring and scents. Am planning a dawn chorus walk w ds on Thursday before work. Should be quite magic.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Thanks for being a blood donor @f0xh0les. Being a beneficiary of a blood transfusion myself, I am extremely grateful to folk who donate.
NSD 4/15Weather was nice enough for OH and I to have a tea in garden before DS got up.DS then went to grandparents so OH and I did more tidying in the garden. We’re trying to get the grass in shape as it’s got a lot of weeds and moss. Borrowed mum’s scarifier so the lawn’s looking a bit bald. Will need to get some grass seed to thicken it up.OH also power-washed the patio - the birds have had a poo party on it! Maybe they can now meet outdoors in larger groups too?!I’ve got until Tuesday to appeal the panel on my job grading. And I’ve since learned that a colleague of mine, who’s job is very very similar, is in the grade above me! It’s as similar as me shelf-stacking the dairy aisle and my colleague stacking the meat aisle. I actually think it’s an equal pay issue. But do I want to go there?Grateful for a sunny peaceful start to the morning, a good laundry drying day, a tidy garden, and DS’s grandparents entertaining him for a couple of hours.

Today I am grateful for getting some TAG marking moderation done for a colleague, for playing badminton with dd in the rain, for hm cakes, for a good book to look forward to later this evening, for my friend cancelling tonight's walk (it is just far too soggy out there now!)

hi everyone
Toni'sfriend - hope you feel better soon.
Echo thanks to f0xh0les & all other blood doners - DD2 had a blood transfusion when she was 3, very grateful to blood doners.
I've had a very relaxing weekend. Went to DD1's bestie's garden on Sat for pancakes. Then did mega clean of the fridge and kitchen and big shop in Mr T. Used loyalty vouchers and took £11 off the total
Chilled in the eve, watched 3 episodes of This is Us
Woke early today & put out 2 loads of washing. Then met friend at our mid point and had a lovely catch-up, walk and picnic. Returned some trousers to a shop and bought a coat with my credit plus £25.
Just made lovely veggie roast for tea with leftovers ready for tomorrow.
It's a bit grey here now but has been sunny and warm in the NW all day
Gratitudes - washing dry on the line, fresh sheets on my bed tonight; lovely catch up with friend and found a new walk; listening to Abba special on R2 while making my tea

Get well soon @Toni'sfriend.
Nsd#10, yippee double figures!
A walk with hubby after breakfast, he took his camera & spotted a different bird on a fence, from the usual Sparrow, etc. Dropped youngest at his friend's, I had a natter with his mum for an hour. Made soup, then lots of weeding in the garden before picking son up again. Very warm this afternoon.
Grateful for a walk, a warm day, clean bedding & I'm just about to hop into a warm bath with my book 😀Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

I am looking forward to the Eur0visi0n semi-finals next week (Tues and Thurs 8pm) and the actual final on Saturday. We have popcorn and laughter planned, and we will hopefully improve the kids' geographical knowledge while playing 'who got dressed in the dark' and answering their questions as to why that man is covered in leather straps?, Who put her in the cage?, Why does that lady has a beard? and, Who set fire to the piano? I do love Eur0visi0n. Pure tatty nonsense heaven.

Was outside for most of yesterday and today. Yesterday I got wet and my dress was wetter still. However I now have 64 tomato plants, 7 courgette plants, 23 red pepper plants and 17 dwarf beans all potted individually in cut down 2 l plastic bottles. They are all in my room as I don't want anything else spoiled by the rain before I get the polytunnel up. Put up a decorative panel for mum, made easy food (my lunch was a piece of cheese and 2 apples, tea for us both was potato wedges and corned beef. We had over 12 hours today without rain - poured down from 6 pm. No time left for digging or painting - was having difficulty moving by lunchtime. Yesterday I got temporarily trapped in a muddy container - struggled to free my welly.
Grateful for
My baby brother improving (he may be allowed home next weekend). My niece and her friend spent 8 hours cleaning at brother's house yesterday and have barely made a dent, it may need painting and a new carpet.
DS1, d-i-l and my grandpuppy are coming for a visit some time over the bank holiday weekend. Haven't seen them since 7 th March 2020.
Second vaccine appointment next Friday.
Sorry for my absence. Will catch up with dates soon (page has detached from my notebook and is buried under the filing mountain). Filing will be gone soon - into the metal box, the A4 file or the bin.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage8
