One thing to bear in mind for tracker is the fact it's tied to the Wholesale price, and the much touted £150 off from April is not going to happen for tracker, unless you know different.

The price is related to the wholesale price but it is different, so plenty of room to make it cheaper, which Octopus have said they will do for all their tariffs, unless you know different ..

Then they need to change the formula , April 26 perhaps …. dunno, my Dec 24 runs out on Mar 6th and Sep 25 is not very good for gas.

It wasnt at the end of Jan / beginning of Feb, but it's still 8% more than Dec 24

It's not the standard tariff that matters when comparing prices - it's the comparison with other tariffs from other companies. And Octopus Tracker was well and truly beaten by fixed prices this winter because of the way they've ratcheted up the profit margin over and above wholesale prices.

I understand your point but Tracker gives you the opportunity to tailor your usage, especially electricity usage. 17p tomorrow here in the SE, so I shall charge up the plug-in … my electricity cost overall was less in 2025 (April 25 v1) than it was in 2024 (fixed)

For what version? On my Apr 25 v1 it is 17.97p according to Octotracker. Promise ..

By means of comparison EDF Freephase Dynamic is under 9p kWh for 20-21 hours Tomorrow.
