I developed a simple little spreadsheet to compare different tariffs taking into account the effects of different SC's. Over recent weeks there have been scarcely any huge differences between Tracker(s) and the Loyalty 14-M Fix, though there are variations depending on the versions compared. And gas vs elec. My personal inputs (consumption) have an influence also.
Cosy not considered but several Agiles. As you say the latter seem more competitive but in my view not so much more competitive that this compensates for the volatility - in a day the price can fly all over the shop.  All this would be more meaningful if borne out by Compare. WTS.

Has anybody got their April 2025 bill yet?

My date is 21/22 of the month for my bill and Octopus have deducted the amount from my balance but not issued a bill/statement.

    This is for gas.

That happens to me sometimes - the balance is deducted, but the bill can take 2 or 3 days to appear.

Same with my bills - the latest charge is 21st April but the statement was issued on the 24th. (Which meant it took into account my payment on the 22nd.)

I don't know if this contributes to the debate:
15 April - gas reading uploaded manually to site
    16 April - invoice received
Covering period 1st April - 15 April (including my reading)
To be direct debited 1st May
I've got a smart meter (for both fuels)
    I don't think that I've got a lot to complain about ..

Gas tracker is proving pretty good at the moment. Todays price 4.96p. Been a while since it's been so low.

Not sure why anyone would consider tracker for Electricity though, Agile, even with almost zero effort to load shift easily undercuts tracker for me.

Natural gas prices have halved since the February's highs when we were paying 7p.

1p saving over my current fix isn't enough to tempt me back to Tracker, I don't think.

Some low users in regions where standing charged reduced a lot due to lower transmission costs  e.g North East 12p per day might prefer being on a tariff other than Agile where SC as of now has not reflected reduction. + no clock watching.

Moved back to Gas Tracker at the beginning of the month and am averaging under 5pkwh. If Tomato fold I would definitely consider current Electricity Tracker averaging just over 22pkwh with the reduced standing charge of 48p per day.

I switched back for gas on 7th Mar, and saved £35 up to 23rd April, it was worth the experiment for me, todays gas eastern is 4.62p vs my 5.74 fix and well below SVT. Lucky timing I guess ,
