That seems to be the formula: Those whose consumption would have most to gain from a 4 - 8 pm savings session use instead an early morning "EV" timeslot. Those whose main consumption falls within the 4 - 8 pm slot would restrict themselves to relatively modest usage anyway. Hardly rocket science.Telegraph Sam

Sir, this is the Tracker thread.*Anyway, it's nice to see Tracker gas having a decent spell down near 5p/kWh. We're still using 10-20kWh a day so that's a small but measurable saving.* I'm prepared to be the only one who gets that reference.N. Hampshire, he/him. [Even though I'm technically gatecrashing here now since Agile is working out way cheaper than the newer Tracker formulae.]1 -
I don''t think you should get shot for comparing Tracker with the alternatives on a Tracker forum.
Time I did a Compare comparison with Agile etc again. What time period are you using?Telegraph Sam

Ah no I meant I'm not even considering Tracker any more. I've been keeping an occasional eye on it but the current formulae mean it's nowhere near competitive. (The closest contender is Cosy still, for if Agile shoots up.)Telegraph_Sam said:I don''t think you should get shot for comparing Tracker with the alternatives on a Tracker forum.

The time period I use is the rolling month on Octopus Compare, noting now and then our average p/kWh, and when I have an occasional look at Tracker it's always much higher.1
