So why bother? It seems most fixes have gone up today, not just Octopus. I've made a futile attempt to ask them to honour yesterday's price since their site kept erroring yesterday when I tried to switch and they had told me to just try again later.

Well for good or ill, I've decided to take the plunge and switch to Tomato, starting Tuesday. Given I can save immediately, there doesn't seem much point waiting until mid-Feb to act, and the rising gas price will have a knock-on effect on electricity. Also didn't want to risk Tomato pulling its current pricing given the activity in the market, although I think the risk of that is fairly low.Here's hoping they stay in business long enough for me to benefit! Good luck to everyone else on deciding your next steps.8

I to have just opted for the Tomato Lifestyle tariff, this follows fixing my gas yesterday to Octopus 12 month fix. I have been on Octopus Dec '23 tracker which has been a good tariff while it lasted.
My TE also moves over on Tuesday 7th 🤞1
